We had dinner tonight at the hospital with my Mom. I made my dad's favourite dish as he hasn't had home made pot roast sandwiches in a long time.
While I was in the grocery store a while earlier I saw, get this, chilled liquid/solid caramel for dipping apples. It is made by my favourite salad dressing company, Lighthouse, so I figure it can't be too bad (I am a chocolate person myself).
After we ate dinner, I cut up a couple of Pink Lady apples and we dipped the slices in the caramel sauce. O M G...it is good. It is sooooo good! It is sitting in the fridge now and I am upstairs...I am thinking about it sitting in the fridge chilling. It is really good cold. Oh man this is torture!
It is that good!

That caramel is sitting there in the fridge as I type this. I am hungry. I didn't eat a lot today. There is that caramel sitting there in the fridge. It is waiting to be eaten. I mean it's a dirty job, right?

I know I shouldn't enable. But I will. Because, after all.... that's what refupeas are for, right? 1 8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened 1 c. brown sugar 1 t. vanilla Blend well. Homemade caramel dip in 60 seconds. For when the Lighthouse dip runs out..... Lisa

AUGGHHH! I've got a bag of apples that are a bit too tart to eat. I was thinking of making apple bread or apple crisp with them, but I do have some caramel syrup in the fridge right now... Hmmmm.

I saw the following phrase somewhere:
Desserts is stressed spelled backwards.

It is very creamy though and kind of buttery without the fat in butter. That does sound good, though! Thank you!

I saw the following phrase somewhere: Desserts is stressed spelled backwards. This is true and we are pretty STRESSED so eating DESSERTS just makes sense, right?
