Just a thought, instead of thinking I need to drop 60lbs, how about breaking it into smaller amounts. Today is July 1, maybe aim to drop 5lbs by August 1. Also, I read a recent report that people who weigh themselves every single day have a better track record of maintaining their ideal weight. I've done this for years and years. It's part of my morning habit before I get in the shower. It wasn't until I read the article that I had the ah ha moment. Subconsciously if you see even the slightest increase in weight it will make you cut back on your calorie intake.
