And do you find that it is helpful? I used to use one years ago, but it was a pain inputting all the information. But I have recipes all over my computer right now and would like to have one place for them. I want to be able to import my own recipes from the files I have, plus import recipes I find online.
Any recommendations? I was looking at Mastercook.
Thanks Karen

No. I print them out and stick them in a 3-ring binder. But I'm interested in this thread and seeing what other people do.

I read there were some limitations with Paprika, such as searching by categories. The more recipes you have the more of a problem it is. Do you find this?

I only came to Paprika this year, following RPea recommendation, so I don't have a huge amount of recipes in it and have not encountered that problem Karene. I love Paprika. I use it almost every day and I have a "Save Recipe" button on my favourites tool bar on my computer so if I come across a recipe I like it just takes one click to save it to Paprika. Not all recipes can be saved like this but enough for me to love the function.

I also use Paprika. I have it on my phone, computer and iPad. I use the recipes and shopping list sections daily!

I use a three ring binder. My computer is nowhere near the kitchen , so having recipes stored on the computer doesn't make any sense to me.

I read there were some limitations with Paprika, such as searching by categories. The more recipes you have the more of a problem it is. Do you find this? Paprika doesn't have "ready made" categories. You set them up yourself and then add whatever categories that apply to each recipe as you import or enter them in. Then in the search bar, you can search within all recipes. You can click on a specific category (for example, desserts) and search for mint and anything with "mint" in the title that is in the dessert category will be shown in a list. I have no problem locating recipes I'm looking for. Love Paprika!

I have a little over 200 recipes in my Paprika and have never had any problems searching and locating them.

Giant fan of Paprika. Use it all the time in the store for meal planning.

I use Paprika. Love it. Have it on all my devices: phone, Ipad, Macbook and it works on other platforms too. I don't bother with categories except I have one category for work. Anything I want to try for work goes in that category, the rest just sit. I have over 3000 recipes. The search is quick and easy. I want a chicken dish, I just type chicken and can search by name or ingredient. I just make sure that each recipe has a good identifier in the name. At work, I can just pull out my phone, open the App and I have all my recipes right there and I can notate and edit them as I work. The only thing I don't like are the SILENT timers. Helllooooooo? Why would you want your timer to be silent. Maybe it's a setting but I haven't figured it out. No worries, I just ask Siri to set the timers for me
