Just thinking about how so many people I know don't scrap anymore. I'm having dinner tomorrow night with a big group of girls I used to crop with. One is Doris Sander. She still scraps and works in the industry. One is Jann Gray - she makes great videos and works in the industry. One is my ScrapGals Podcast co-host Tiffany Lowder.
The rest have all given up scrapbooking! It's heartbreaking!
They just don't make time for it now. I confess....I find myself not making time for it more and more although I truly do still love it.
I think there's something to be said for camaraderie. When you have a group that crops together or hangs out at a LSS, you feel that constant inspiration and want to share what you're doing.
When you're going it alone, it's easy to just say "Nah...I'll do something else right now."
So do you still scrap regularly? When's the last time you made a page?

I do - though not as much as I used to, but it's only because I'm too busy . If I had more free time I would. I did some pages last month, hoping to make some time for it this weekend. None of my real life friends scrap anymore.

Last week! But I've gone very long periods where I've not scrapped in months. Both 2012 and 2013 had few pages completed. I am gaining momentum this year though have about 30 two pagers done!

Yes, I still scrapbook - at least I still buy scrapbook supplies. I need to get busy making actual pages again.

I still do. Just like everyone else, I don't devote enough time to my hobby. But I've noticed that I have more time now, especially since my kids are older. They can play in the street while I watch from my big window (in my formal living room, where my scrap space is housed). I'm still 3 years behind. I'm ok with it.

I do! I tend to do it in spurts, mostly over the fall/winter. I am in MI so who wants to sit inside in the summer and scrapbook all day when we have been cooped up for the last 7 months?
I went on a girls scrapbook trip with my cousin and her BFF. We rented a hotel room about 10 miles from our houses and never left the room from Friday-Sunday, except for breakfast and dinner in the lobby. We had so much fun - we want to go longer in the fall.

I finished my frozen challenge last week but as of yet, haven't made anything this week. I plan on scrapping tomorrow or Saturday though.

I haven't in years. I blame my digital camera! I take too many pictures and it's so overwhelming to pick pictures for a layout. But I buy stuff all the time! Well, not as much as I used to, but more than I should when I am not scrapbooking. But after going through my 3,345 bookmarks and pinning them to pinterest, it really makes me want to get back to it. I have some great layouts on my bookmarks.
I saw so many names from the past that were some favorites of mine. I wonder if they still scrap. Heather Ann Melzer, Candy, laura ping, newpeaamanda, njoyscrappin, carrie Colbert, amyhasthree (Amy Licht), Amy Howe. They seemed to disappear from 2 peas, and going through my layouts it was nice to see their work.

I still do, I'm in the process of finishing up 2 pages today (after not completing any pages for months). I find myself buying way too much and then feeling totally overwhelmed with way too many choices. I would love to use what I have and get those memories down on paper and into albumns.

I do! I'm working on a layout right now (or trying to, I keep getting sucked into these boards!) I'm a digital scrapbooker. I have about 35 completed layouts in my folder ready to be printed. I'm going on a scrapbook retreat in July for 4 days with 10 friends. Some are digi and some are traditional. We go twice a year and it is SO much fun! We watch movies, laugh, eat, drink and manage to do a lot of scrapbooking too!

I scrap but due to time constraints, I will skip 2 months & then do 6 layouts to catch up.
I am an event scraper & I have a sticky note on my desk of layouts to do when I find some free time.

I still scrap, although I've taken breaks between the time I started a dozen years ago and today. I also make cards - I like playing with paper. I haven't made a page in about a month, but that's just because I've been out of town away from my stash! As soon as I get home I'll be helping a friend who is a new mom with a baby book.

I still scrapbook but haven't scrapped in a few months as we were getting ready to put our house in the market and I packed up a bunch of my supplies. I need to scrap a bit though as I am missing it and the idea of not scrapping until we actually sell and move is just going to work.

Yes, I still do. It is my therapy! Since we downsized and moved, I no longer have dedicated space to go to and hibernate. My space now is the kitchen peninsula, so if someone is cooking, scrapbooking and the occasional card making is totally out.

It doesn't seem like she scrapbooks anymore but does a ton of fabulous traveling. I enjoy seeing her photos.

I still do, but not as much. That's only because I've been super busy the last 3 years. The desire to is still there and I'll have more time for it when my oldest leaves for college this fall and my youngest starts driving himself to his events in a few weeks.

Very sporadically. It is not a lack of desire but working full time and going to school half time takes up all my time. This fall is my last semester and I hope to get back to it with more regularity.

I do. I wish I could scrap more than I actually have time for right now. It's just an exercise in frustration to even try to get anything much accomplished until I can get my studio done and my stuff put away. I'm hoping by the end of summer I'll be able to start getting more pages done.

I still love this hobby and walking into my room gives me so much joy. However, I also feel overwhelmed with the amount of product I have, and I am so behind on so many different projects so it is easy to feel as though I am drowning. I still try to get in and scrap as much as I can, but realistically, when I am have free time, I am being lazy and catching up on the dvr. And now I feel guilty typing that out because I know it should be the opposite.

I do, project life and 12x12 pages. I work on something nearly every night. It's my come-down time after work to decompress.

I definitely do! I just reconnected w/an old scrappy friend and we get together to scrap at least once a week. I must confess that since we've been doing that (it's been about 8 months), I don't scrap as often by myself as I used to. I have to work on that.

I haven't made a page since the first part of the year, I've been focusing on other scrapbook related crafts like cardmaking and altered art. I tend to save up several layouts worth of photos and then work on them all at once. I haven't been to a crop in a long time, but registered for one of the crop nights at the Houston area CKC coming up at the first of August. I'm looking forward to it and hope that it gets me excited about scrapbooking again. We still have some LSS here and there are regular crops. I want to get back into going again, I just need that kick in the pants to motivate myself to do it.

I do...I have done two layouts in the last week. About 13 years ago I joined a Yahoo message board for scrappers in my area. About 10 of us still get together regularly to scrap, shop or take a class. 3-4 times a year we rent a retreat house and scrap for 4-5 days at at time. I work full-time, so that's when I generally get most of my scrapping done. Today I went to a monthly scrapping club/class at my LSS and did a bunch of shopping. There was a period of about 4 years where I really didn't do much scrapping at all. I had moved to another state and was away from my scrapping buddies. But, I kept all my stuff and am still very into it.

I scrap at least as much as I used to back in the day. I took a long break after I moved to Australia and had my son (who is a handful) but I scrap as often as possible. I just scrap differently now. I do 10 minutes here and there between doing housework, cooking and looking after kids. Every so often my husband takes the kids out for the afternoon (except the littlest one) and I scrap to my heart's content uninterrupted.

I haven't made a page since March or maybe very early April. I think I have been in mourning since Archiver's closed. I live pretty close to the Twin Cities, so I had access to several of their locations. To be able to walk in there and shop/look around was a great way to jumpstart your mojo. I do still love it. But, I miss the camaraderie. I haven't had people to scrapbook with since I moved to where I currently live. That was almost 10 yrs ago. I miss it and I also miss the chats on the phone with girls I have met through sb.com or 2peas. We would scrapbook in the afternoons and chat. But, lives change. And sometimes, you don't have time for that anymore. Kids get older and demand more time due to sports and what not. Jobs change. Etc. I do miss my scrap n' chats.
