My LSS owner was telling me about a new machine they had in the store (for about 4 hours-sold out). It is a die cutter that cuts up to 8.5 x 11 dies and embosses. It has a dial on the front of it so you don't have to put in plates. The dial (14 settings maybe) is the thing you change so it can cut thin dies and thick dies. It sells for about $250. I think the lady that blogs for Tim Holtz (Tammy Tuttoro- probably butchering her name) was the one who did the reveal at the store. I am curious about it. Does anyone know the name?
I Googled it but only found the Vagabond. Not sure if it is a Tim Hotz product or how closely she works with him.

I don't know much about die cutters, but I did look around at a bunch when I went to buy one about a year ago... The only ones I can recall having a dial were the WRMK one and the Xcut Xpress... I don't think either was large enough to cut something 8.5" wide at that time, but maybe there's a newer model out? The biggest ones I remember seeing were the Fiskars Fuse and a Big Shot model... Maybe that helps some...?
ETA - the eBosser/Craftwell does large sizes too but it's electronic and not sure if that's what they demoed since you mentioned a dial...
