I really like her overall style, but I'm hesitating on subscribing. I don't like that you can't cancel without losing money. It's $ 24.99 to do just one month and that seems too much for a stamp set. The story kits look nice, but again even at the 12 month commitment price of $ 19.99 it seems expensive for what you get.
Anyone out there who has subscribed and can give me your opinion. Also does anyone know if the stamp sets are ever available for purchase without the membership?

I've been a subscriber since the very beginning (story stamp) and I love it! I recently just subbed to the story kit too. You get more than just the product, you also get a lot of class content each and every month. At least 40 min. Of content and story ideas and layout ideas as well. PDFs are included plus access to a message board and gallery. I feel like its great value for my money. I find myself grabbing the stamps and using them all the time.

I get tempted often but haven't done it yet. I do like her style but just don't want to commit for that long and the single month is so $ I think you have to also cancel even if you choose a single month - no fee but have to do so by a date that is before you get your first kit.

She had a sale for national scrapbooking day where she clearanced out her stamps and kits but no class content. Tempted but the once I really wanted sold out fast and they really weren't that cheap if I remember correctly. I think you saved $5 but had to pay shipping.

I have subscribed to the story stamp since the first stamp. The stamps are very versatile. However, I agree with the posting above that the video content with Ali showing examples of how she used the stamps makes it worth the cost. I did order the story kit on a month to month subscription one month and found out the hard way that you had to do a cancellation. The following month I also liked the story kit and ordered it. Imagine my dismay when two story kits ended up at my front door !! That was an expensive mistake.

I subbed to her stamp kit for 6 months and loved it. (Had to stop all of my kit clubs due to budget cuts recently) When you join the kit club you get much more than just a stamp or scrapbooking supplies. Her videos are awesome. She really sparks your creativity and thought process. If you are an Ali fan, you will love it.
And if there is a month you don't care for the stamp or kit contents you can always sell them. I see them on Facebook groups and they are sold for full price quickly.

I get the monthly digital story kit. I like the kits, her pdf's & layouts. I don't think the gallery is very active but am happy with my subscription.

I subscribe to both and her content is what makes it so worth it. She has class material, videos, guest videos, a message board. She gives you so much to think about and jump off from. I think the $40 a month is well worth it because the stamps are really versatile and you can always revisit the theme and take it off in a different direction.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm also interested in a sub to one or both kits. Maybe next year when money isn't quite do tight. I've heard lots of positive comments about the videos, teaching content etc and also Ali's open and helpful attitude.

I just started the story stamp subscription this month -- funny enough, I was motivated by all of the Studio Calico nonsense, even though the Ali Edwards sub had put me off because of the commitment (at least she was up-front about it). I got my first stamp, and I have already used it quite a bit. The site content, as others have said, is excellent.
I am considering the story kit at some point, particularly if I drop my SC PL sub. I bought AE's Week in the LIfe kit last year (and have preordered this year); I really loved what came in the WITL kit, and I imagine I would probably like the story kit as well. Clean and simple appeals to me.

You can tell that thought went into it and it's not done in the cheapest way to save money.
