I was just at my local ac moore, and they have a large sign above the shelf of wrmk albums, selling 12x12 & 8.5x11" 3 ring leather albums for $9.99 each.
I asked the cashier and she said they are clearancing them out for good.
I bought three - two black 8.5x11"& 1 turquoise 12x12"
Perfect price for albums I was going to buy anyway.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a great sale, and on the fact that they are getting rid of them.

Wow..don't have ac Moore in my town and they are hard to find. I ordered 5 from all scrapbook steals yesterday. I hope they really have some. Last time I ordered from them it took about 3 months for them to get them in stock but they were really nice and called me to ask if I could wait. I use a lot of them.

My AC Moore had just one 8.5x11 and 3 colors of 12x12 by the time I saw them  Why are they clearancing them? I can only hope American Crafts/WRMK is coimng out with something comparable - maybe new colors? |

I can only hope American Crafts/WRMK is coimng out with something comparable - maybe new colors? She didn't know why they were clearancing them, just that they were. I'm hoping that they are not gone for good. They are my favorite, and what I use exclusively. I'm hoping it's just a "packaging" change, like if they are changing the design on the sticker label or something. Please WRMK, don't take away what works. |

I think they are being repackaged because American Crafts owns them now. I read somewhere they have no plans to change the albums, but I'm sure AC wants to put their own info on the SKU at the bottom. Hopefully we will see them back in big box stores!
I wish we had an AC Moore. Great deal!

Our local ACM closed a few years ago. Now, I have to drive 90 minutes or 2.5 hours to get to one.

*whispers* I went back this morning and bought two more.
I thought the three I bought yesterday would be enough to tackle the stacks of finished but unhomed layouts.
I was wrong.
Two more should do it, plus room to spare.
Now I need to find the frozen peas.

went to the ACM in Myrtle Beach today. They had 2-brown 12x12 and 5-red 8.5x11 albums...bummer

Thanks for the heads up! Mine only had black 8.5x11, and some looked like they had been in storage for ages - it had a different sticker/packaging, and the leather was scuffed up. But I was happy to pick up one of the newer ones. =)

Steal.com has some albums left at a really good price. The 12 x 12 are gone, but it appears there are plenty of 8 1/2 x 11 and some other sizes.
