Wyoming is beautiful. I can see why you get distracted. My craft room faces North and I just have a fence and the next door neighbors roof to look at but I am going to hang stuff on the fence to make it prettiful. I just like having my craft room so organized and usable.

I love that I have a dedicated space that is all mine to work in. One wall is painted in a giant plaid pattern that is just AWESOME. I have 2 Expedits that hold (most of) my stuff. I love the view out my window- trees and the neighbor's yard and the street. Nothing special... I just feel like a grown up in my real, live suburban house!

I am the opposite of a lot of you! I love that my space is in the open dining room in the center of the house where I am in the middle of all the activity. I don't want a separate room because I feel like I would never go in there. The idea is nice, but I know I would never use it.

I love my lime green walls, card catalog and my ribbon display best of all. I love ribbon and have it all hanging right next to my table in lovely rainbow order. It is easy to access and lovely to look at! I wish there was a better place to have my typewriter and sewing machine out and ready to use all the time, but since I have to have a cat trap (cardboard box for furry fannies) on my desk I just pull them out when needed. I do love my room though!

Our house is small, so if I was in the thick of the household I would have to have a much smaller space to work! Also, I have a cat who steals things, so I definitely need a door as I can't leave it open if I am not in there. When the kids were at home I did want to be out with them though, so I get that. I only work 4 days a week though, so most of the time I am in there I am the only human home. There are times when I want to scrapbook but still be with my husband, so that is hard. Maybe I should try to make a small station out in the living room where I could just play a bit in the evening after dinner while hanging out together.

We lived in a travel trailer for 11 years which daughter had a day bed in the living room. Under her bed I stored all my scrap stuff in 3 long totes and 2 smaller totes. so I was in the middle of the house when I scrapped. but the house was so small that no body else in the family had room to do anything when I was scrapping. so It is nice for all of us for me to have a room I can have my craft stuff. It is a small room (9 X 10 i'm guessing) and I do share it with the treadmill and spin bike. I don't mind because truly all i need is my table, chair and shelves full of stuff. I love the fact that I can organize everything and don't have to pull out heavy totes to scrap. I also had a lot of my craft stuff in storage so if I wanted to do a different craft I had to think about it and go to storage and pull it out.
I love my craft room.

I was in an upstairs bedroom, until we needed it for the grandchildren. I moved to one end of the LR. I like being on the main level. I could move to the basement, but I wouldn't be able to see outside.
Someday I'd like a dedicated room with windows and room for friends to join me. It would have to be near DH's office or where he watches TV.

It is my happy place and I can enter at any time and just feel at peace. Love my space. This is exactly what I was going to say! LOL i actually have a page from a calendar on my door that says "no whining or complaining. Only warm fuzzy feelings allowed"

I love my table! It's huge (even though at the moment you can't see an inch of it). My plan is to go in today and do some cleaning in there. I clean it up every summer, but it collects so many things during the school year.
