I think it has something to do with the HH that doesitmatter organized. (Should we have another one? Maybe at the beginning of August?). Maybe it also has to do with summer....whatever it is I'm liking it! I particularly like to see those with low post-counts starting to get more active...please keep it up! |

I like it too, and I think it will pick up even more if admin takes some of the separate boards and adds them into GS.

I've been spending more time over here the past few weeks. Something over on the NSBR board (don't even remember what it was) bugged me so I hung out over here. And I've gotten back into card making so it's what I'm interested in. I still visit NSBR and comment on posts, but I sometimes I need a break.

I wonder if some of it has to do with fallout from the SC boards and people needing to connect with other scrapbook era without drama. It's kind of sad over there right now.

One of the things I loved about the original Two Peas was the GS board. I never really posted but I loved to read it. I have really missed having that scrappy talk so I decided to make more of an effort here and post more. I would love to see this board be full of new posts all the time.  |

I too am enjoying the higher activity here. I have was here at the beginning, but then I left for a while, was over at Paperclipping and Get It Scrapped (those boards are really slow moving) but really I was just struggling with my own scrapbooking issues for a while. I started back here checking daily like I did Two Peas about a two months ago. I am really enjoying the feeling I am getting from this group. Yes I say we keep up the activity and the positive posts. And as I posted in one of the HH threads, I really want to figure out a way to have more frequent online crops (or more like a video meeting place), where people could log on a drop by whenever the mood strikes them. Maybe for those times you are working on a page and need that little advice or opinion from another. I am just trying to figure out how I can cover the monthly cost myself. Once I figure that out, I could have the room open almost every evening (US time) and most weekends all day (I am quite the home body). But until I can get that figured out, I am just happy, happy, happy, that everyone here is chatting away. Let's keep it up!.

I was a long time member at 2peas. I always got great information and scrap tips. I looked at the GS thread frequently but posted only occasionally. I rarely looked at the gallery or other threads. I am at the slow part of my summer so I hope to be more active here!

I love it here now. I think it's moving better because of the the HH thread by doesitmatter and other interesting threads. Alissa103's TM threads always get my attention. After all, don't we all love some enabling? I also love threads about scraprooms and new products. Let's keep it moving people! Love it.

I haven't had much time to read all the posts this week but it's great to see things moving. None of my IRL friends scrap so it's so nice to connect with other Peas who share the same passion.

There is a long thread about it but it's probably on page 2 or 3 by now...... Essentially they changed their costs/shipping charges and told customers it would be a good deal but many subscribers don't feel that it is. They've also changed the deal so that subscribers will have to lock into a contract after December or pay a higher kit cost, and pay half the balance for cancelling before the end of the contract. A lot of the upset relates to how it has been handled. |
