Epic fail on the sale! I had thought about buying the Kindle Fire but I have a perfectly good nook HD, so I didn't, but I did pick up 48 double rolls of Northern Ultra Soft toilet paper for $23 bucks....don't laugh.....my family goes through so much freaking toilet paper and that was a good deal.

So when can I quit stalking amazon for waitlist items? I don't even remember exactly which items are waitlisted for me. I keep getting kicked off waitlists. It is maddening. Just now they had the countdown to the ps4 deal. I stalked it, clicked on it and it was higher then the regular price. WTF? And then the timer reset. I don't think it is doing it right

I have been unimpressed with their sales for the last couple of years. I was tempted by the fire stick but it sold out before I got on the computer. I forgot to check before I went to bed last night. I looked through the other deals and was unimpressed if this is better than Black Friday I guess I won't bother with then then. I have a few DVDs I would love to buy but waiting for a sale.

I was getting kicked off waitlists too. I clicked the waitlist button at least twice for everything I wanted.

I too was unimpressed but I did buy the spiral vegetable peeler thing everyone here was raving about. It was on sale for $23.00. I think that was cheaper than the prices mentioned here. Now to see if I'll use it...

I don't know if it was a part of the "deals" today or just a coincidence, but the Fitbit Flex I wanted dropped to $74.99 instead of the $89.99 it usually is. Happy (yesterday was my) birthday to me!

I just realized that they advertised MORE deals than black friday, not as good of deals or better deals. So yeah, they have a bunch of crap deals, $3 off, or crap items and they have MORE.
What a joke.

I got the drink well fountain, and that was it. Anyone shopping for a 4-6 year old should look at the gears, gears, gears sets. Those are really fun and a good price. They have several upcoming.

I only bought the firestick. Everything else has not worth buying.

Finally, there is something that I want in an upcoming deal.. Wonder if I remember about it come 8pm haha.
Thankfully, I don't need a "Mega Prime Sell" for me to shop there!
There are like 5 things I have waited to buy to see if they were in this huge sale.. Haven't seen any of them. Oh well!!

I bought an AirPrint printer half off and grabbed another 1TB external hard drive. I also got the Paderno zucchini spiralizer and picked up a few small Christmas gifts for my kids. The sale was great for me!

I bought a CF card reader. I knew it would sell out fast, so I actually added it to my cart beforehand, and then set a timer for the opening time on my iphone. When the timer went off, I went to my cart, clicked on the card reader, and readded it to my cart at the reduced price. Deleted the original price one, and then checked out really quickly!
We have been not impressed by the sale. And baffled by the plethora of granny panties.

I saw someone earlier describe this sale as "Amazon's garage sale." I think by now it's safe to say they're right. I kept checking and waiting for something exciting, anything exciting to pop up. But no, nothing. I don't want kid's toys, granny panties or kitchen supplies.

I wanted to get a Kindle Paperwhite for my daughter. The last generation was $109, but for $119 I could get her the newest one. I could have gotten the basic model pretty darn cheap, but once you've had Paperwhite there's no going back.

I thought it was funny that even the news reports were reading tweets and social media about the epic fail of the sale today. Bad news for Amazon. I really like them but man that was a let down.

I did get a Prime membership because we recently ditched out cable TV and thought the streaming will be a nice thing. My daughter is starting college next month & I thought it will be a convenient thing for her. I did buy a basic Kindle and am looking forward to getting that. Other than that, the sales were lame.

If this sale was supposed to be better than Black Friday, I won't even bother visiting the site on that day. What a waste of time.
I did buy some exercise resistance bands, and selected the "no rush" shipping option for a $5 credit, which can be used on outdoor or pet related items. Item first had an estimated delivery date of next Wednesday, but I just got a shipping notification saying that the item will be delivered Saturday.

I looked at the fitbit charge hr they were advertising, but it was list price ($149) and came with a $25 GC. But Walmart had it for $118. I didn't end up getting one.

I suppose people were really expecting big things but the biggest, best things depends on what YOU are loping for. I agree that overall I thought there was nothing really special but I am sure for some, there were deals. I bought some greenies for the dog and they were a good deal, better than I can usually get. My son got some protein powders or whatever that crap is that he uses for workouts. I think they are lame but he was excited at the cost. It really is about perspective. They had an additional 30% off on many items like clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc and a small chain I had wanted was on it so last night I decided to go for it with the discount. I know that some people scored tbs but that wasn't of any interest to me. Amazon is reporting it as a success so I guess someone is happy haha.
Generally speaking, I happen to like Amazon and buy what I need and do my research to know if it is a good deal for me or not. I think they have saved me money by keeping me out of a quick run to Target or fill in your store name by getting only what I need and not adding impulse items that always seem to jump in my cart at brick and mortar stores.
