I will be moving into a new office. I spend 10 1/2 hours a day at work in my office. I would really like to give my new office a less "OFFICE" look if you know what I mean. I need creative ideas to effectively disguise some of those typical "OFFICE" features. These have to be relatively low cost using typical scrapbooking supplies I would probably have on hand. I will be able to purchase some items, I am needing decorative storage that will stand up to typical "OFFICE" use. I really want to come up with a way to disguise those paper trays. We are a super busy office and we have towers of these paper trays for sorting all our to do items. I hate the way they look, I need to effectively decorate the sides of these trays and include decorative labeling so that people know what to put in which slot.
Some of the other ideas I have are
Decorative tins (Target/Hobby Lobby) for pens, scissors, rulers Baskets for post its, letter openers, staple removers, etc Candy Dishes for paper and binder clips
Any ideas - and pics if you find any - will be greatly appreciated.

I've seen generic Iris carts disguised with patterned paper in the fronts of the clear drawers to hide the contents, and it was very cute.
I used patterned paper and Doodlebug silk flowers to dress up a Pampered Chef tool turnaround thing that I use as a desk organizer.
I put a bunch of colored Target dollar spot buckets on a large lazy susan to organize bigger things on my work island, but you could also use large soup cans that have been painted or decoupaged with scrapbook paper too.
One more. I bought a plain white cardboard wall pocket thing for incoming/outgoing mail from Ikea, and I covered that with scrapbook paper too. It looks so much prettier now and it matches my space.
I bet if you searched on Pinterest for upcycled or DIY home office projects you would find a lot of ideas there. Have fun decorating your new space!

Even after we moved from this location, these still hang on the wall in our new home (condo) - Basic Gray Granola
