For those of you who do weekly or monthly layouts, do you include local/national/world news headlines in your layouts? If you do, where do go to find heaadlines? I am a bunch of weeks behind, so now I'm needing to go back and find headlines. Just wondering if anyone has any good resources to share. Thanks!

I don't usually, but I did include big events like the Boston Marathon bombing, because I had a story about my experiences. I also included the election, along with my "I voted" sticker. Day to day stories, not usually, but I definitely document the big ones.

I usually don't include "hard" news stories, but I do include stuff like the Olympics, World Cup Soccer, etc. I usually copy images posted on Facebook.

I don't include any "hard" news either. I have included the Olympics and the election for president along with my "I Voted" sticker. I think the only other news I've recorded has been of a religious sort, like getting the new pope last year and the canonization of John Paul II in April. Those are news events important to me. I actually stopped watching the news last year and discovered I'm a much happier person.

I typically only include news stories if they have some sort of personal connection (election, Olympics/World Cup if I'm watching/following etc). We recently had a ton of rain that resulted in some mudslides on the hill leading to my neighborhood and ended up on the news. Took a screen shot of the article which I'll include with some journaling in my layout for that week.

Usually I will go to a couple of the national news websites and do 'screenshots' of headlines to include.

Yes. I do a "hard" and soft news. Usually, I just do a screenshot and resize later. I've gotten in the habit of just collecting screenshots when I'm reading the news online and I can go through them later.

I did in my son's baby album but haven't since - great idea. Time magazine might be a good source.

It depends on whether I feel affected by them. For example, I am including an article written by Russell Brand about Robin Williams in my August Project Life. I am also including an article written by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar about the Ferguson riots and the larger issues. I want to be able to go back and read these events and the articles that touched me ten, fifteen years from now.
