There is a restaurant here in Houston called the Barbecue Inn that looks like it time warped from 1968. The food is good, though, and it's always packed.

just found a couple pieces of Three's Company trivia online: apparently Billy Crystal auditioned for the part of Jack Tripper. (I can't see it... John Ritter was perfect!) the show ran for 8 seasons and there were 174 episodes total. (that is crazy!) once Suzanne Somers was fired over the salary disputes her character was never mentioned again. (like she never existed, which is odd.) I used to have such a crush on Jack Tripper... John Ritter was a great comic actor. ETA: there's a 'throwback' sort of bar / restaurant near where my parents live; it's a totally 'Rat Pack' type of steakhouse with the curved booths, dark walls, padded bar, and candles on the tables. Now I want to go there when we go back to visit in a couple weeks!
