This summer, I've been cutting it off. Less flossing required afterward.

Bite. Seems more efficient that way.

I bite it off from left to right like a typewriter.

Bite? Do you mean the kernels? I only cut it off if I need the kernels for another dish.
We're having corn tonight. On the cob.

Bite.
I go around in a circle. One column at a time, as opposed to one left to right row at a time.

I only cut it off the cob when I had braces.

Bite it. One of the joys of (my) life is corn on the cob. I come out a drippy, happy mess.

Bite it off, it's 99% of the experience! And if you don't get butter drips on your boobs while eating it, you lose.

Bite it off. That's the whole point of corn ON THE COB! Otherwise it's just corn. (My DS asks me to cut his off though!)

Bite! That's the whole point ~ otherwise I would just heat up a package of frozen corn.

I cut it - don't like it getting stuck in my teeth.

My wonderful daddy would always cut it off. Such a sweet memory of him. So now, I cut mine off as well. Before he passed, I would bite it off and not wipe my mouth until I was completely done. Talk about a messy girl. LOL!

Bite it off around in circles. DH prefers the typewriter method of biting it off.

I love corn on the cob.. It is the best if one bites it off the cob. I love to grill it and then butter with some garlic and chow.

There is something so primal and satisfying about biting it off of the cob.
I just cut some off the cob to use as fish bait tomorrow, and it was hard to force myself to do so. Corn on the cob is right up there with fresh tomatoes as summer's best treats!

Cut it off! I can't stand to eat it on the cob because of the immediate flossing required! It actually hurts and puts me in a crabby mood when I don't cut it off. My kids are the same way. My husband thinks we're crazy!

I love fresh summer corn but have always hated eating it off the cob. I cut it off the cob and saute in a little butter, salt and pepper and serve.

Corn ON the cob is such a special summer treat. I can have frozen or canned corn any other time of the year. I bite it off like a typewriter - preferably dripping with butter and a dash of salt!

Bite it off, it's 99% of the experience! And if you don't get butter drips on your boobs while eating it, you lose. Um, my drips go straight to my lap, no boobs to stop them. Can I still win if I eat it while on the cob? :-)

I bite if off, seems like it tastes better that way. Then I follow that with a side of dental floss!
