Is CKC offering an Ice resin class? Ice Resin is owned by Ranger and it is set up with the resin and hardener in one container for instant mixing/ correct proportions.
Resin can be used to make lots of things....jewellery,, scrapbooking embellishments etc. I think the most common resin scrapbooking embellishment is probably flowers. Lots of people make resin items by filling small trays (small ice cube trays) and then it takes about 24 hours to cure. you should be able to find videos on YouTube. (I'd search without including Ice since that's just Ranger's brand.... The outcome is the same).

I learned yesterday that you can pour it over paper and it gives a translucent look to the paper and shiny acrylic type feel to it.

I used this to create a lake on a travel page about a decade ago. It is tricky to get the right thinness, and it weighs the page down, but not any more than the bottle cap trend we went through a few years ago. And it's not bulky necessarily -- just heavy.

Wonder if I can see any examples online? Me too - not sure if I have seen this. It sounds familiar but no idea if it's the old idea that's new again, or if it's just a new thing!
