I have an extra set of Darius Rucker tickets for tomorrow night's show at Fiddlers Green in Englewood. I don't want to even list them on Craigslist as that seems so scary and that site is willed with scammers. I simply have an extra pair, middle section 12 rows up in the dead center which I am trying to sell for $150, which is $27 less than I paid with the fees. I figured I would see if any pea in the Denver area might be interested.
I am going with my daughter, as Darius is bucket list type material for me and I ended up with a second set 5 rows from stage. I can hardly contain my excitement

Just saw him in St Louis...He was fantastic! Played a lot of his old classics from the Hootie Days along with the country stuff.
His opening act, Brett Eldredge, is from my home town. A Thousand Horses is great too for an opener.
Have a great time!

A Thousand Horses is great too for an opener. Have a great time! I have been dying to see Darius for the past few years and knew I would do anything to see him and was stalking his page every few days, literally, for the past year. I was excited to find out he was coming and when I heard that Brett Eldredge was with him, well lets just say that my family thought i went nuts with my skipping an shopping around like a maniac. Not one of my prouder moments haha. I got to see Brett last year when he opened for Keith Urban and my daughter took me just so I could see him. Seeing Keith wasn't bad either and I will see him next weekend at Cheyenne Frontier Days (thanks to the same daughter). I love all the positive reviews that I am reading because I am hoping that my anticipation/expectation isn't unrealistic. I haven't met a Darius song that I don't love. Check and see if your have a local Facebook buy sale page. I see tickets on ours all the time. I will have to look into that, quickly. I have never heard of it before. Thanks for the suggestion SabrinaP

I've sold many concert tickets over the years on Craigslist, including for a couple of shows this year. I wouldn't dismiss CL outright as being scary and full of scammers. If you're smart about it, you should be fine.

If you're smart about it, you should be fine. This has been my experience too, with both buying and selling tickets. Meet in a public place and take cash only.

I am getting so excited for the show tonight and hope the weather holds out. We have had rain nearly every day but today has a lower than usual chance, partly cloudy right now. I won't let a little rain ruin my parade. I did decide to try Craigslist and after a few hours I received a message to text someone. Ok. The person asked me for all the information that was in the ad. Whatever. They said they would take the tickets and they were off at 2 and working way up north. I asked where they wanted to meet and suggested a police station parking lot but added that I was open to suggestions. They stopped texting. Ok. I waited then texted back and still nothing. That made me a bit nervous since they had been messaging me back to back. then i received another message from someone who offered me less and wanted them asap. Hmmm, something wasn't feeling right and i generally go off my gut. I finally texted my daughter and asked if her bf would want them. He called me and said he would take them and I just told him that he could have them. I adore this young man, been a part of my family for nearly 5 years and I would rather feel safe, happier to spread the love of Darius around than risk meeting a stranger. He said he may even invite his mom, I don't care who he chooses, that is up to him. I would have liked to recoup some of the cost but this feels much better and I was relaxed after I talked to him.

Were they from ticketmaster? You can sell your tickets on that site and they do it all. The buyer pays a transaction fee. You list how much you want and the buyers either purchases for that or bids on the tickets. The seller can accept a bid at anytime. The tickets are then transferred vis Flashseats and there is no money or tickets that actually change hands.
