Hammered out details (mostly the when/where) with the Mom via FB today. She suggested a park closest to the school. I was able to stop by this park and while I could "envision" a few good places for pics (maybe 3 tops) I didn't see much else there that I thought would make a nice enough picture to warrant being a senior picture or anything I'd be too excited to hang on my wall in a nice frame.
I told her it was completely up to her and if she wanted to go there, I'd meet her there, but I think she figured that if I was telling her that I wasn't too excited about it as an option, she realized that if I wasn't excited about getting good pics, we'd pretty much just be wasting our time.
We discussed two other options...both places I've taken my own kids and both places I LOVE...with plenty of great options for great pictures that would warrant being hung on the wall.
I'm so excited...and because I'm really familiar with this park...I'm not even a little bit nervous. Mom's not going to be there...so I've already sent her my "photo release" document which allows me to use the photos at my discretion without identifying the individual for her to sign.
Have another shoot already on the calendar for August.

I've been with these kids their entire high school lives. (the seniors that just graduated were Freshmen when my eldest DD was a senior in the chorus/theatre program) So the up and coming seniors will be the same...I've watched them grow and mature...turning into wonderful young people.
I've spent so much time with them...so doing senior pics for them is so exciting. I've chaperoned, I've gone on hotel trips with them, I've done meals for them, headshots, show and performance pics. I cannot wait to see what I get.

Seniors are always so much fun! I inevitably end up going over the allotted time because the sessions just flow. Have fun!

I have another session scheduled for Aug 15...at a location closer to me (the Catholic church closest to my home) so I'm hoping I can pay my DS to come with me and work with me in diffusing some sunlight.
