Ok don't laugh!!
i have never taken measurements and have lost 60 pounds. I have ten more to lose and want to take measurements so I have something else to motivate me. I have also ordered clothing online and need an idea of my size. I think they have gotten bigger. My pecs are developed from heavy weights and the rest of me looks smaller. I regret not measuring in the beginning.
But my boobs are flabby and hang down. Should I measure with a bra on? Since I am more busty with the bra on. Thanks for the help with my weird question.

With a bra on, around the widest part of your bust.

Congrats! When you measure your bust, make sure you read the tape with your elbows down at your sides. Most people don't realize that your ribs contract when your arms are lifted. Some of the dancers I've costumed for can gain or lose a couple of inches according to whether their arms are up or down, especially if your arms/lats are muscular.

Measure under the girls, where the band would go, arms down. That is the band size. Then measure with a bra on at the biggest part. Subtract. The difference is the cup size. If the band is 36 and the other is 39, then try a 36C. But they are all different and you will have to try on a bit.
