How many do you have? What is your favorite size and how do you store them?

I have 5 blocks.
Two that are 4x5 - one has tack n peel on it for naked rubber stamps
One that is 2x8 for border stamps
One large that I think is 6x6 for background stamps. I put the stamp on it but use it only to be sure the stamp is truly flat and use it ink side up.
And I also have a large curved one that I have not been able to learn how to use properly even though I have practiced a lot and I mean a lot. So it is mainly unused.
The two 4x5's sit out on my work surface all the time because they are used about 98% of the time.
I'm not sure where I stuck the curved one and don't care. The other two sit within reach if needed.

I have a few. They are all different sizes. If I were to do it again I'd get the Fiskars stamp press (I'm not sure that's the name). They have a couple of sizes. I'd get the small one (more portable). It is gridded so you can see where you are stamping. Here's a link: Stamp press

I'm envious of you, Marybeth. I have 1 Fiskar stamp press 8"x6", a small Martha Stewart stamp press (4x6?) and then around 8 plain acrylic blocks in varying sizes. I'd like to upgrade to the grid ones.

My 4x5s and 2x8 have grids on them. I love the grid and I don't think I would buy one now without it. Can't believe how much I rely on that grid.

I have two of the three-block sets from M's. I believe they have grids. I don't recall the brand. And one teeny tiny one that came with a tiny CTMH stamp.

I use the stamp press mostly. I have other small ones but don't see the need for many with the press

Ceescraps, thanks for sharing info about that Fiskars stamp block. Do you know if they carry that at Michael's? I have three blocks: a 3 1/2" round one with wavy edges for easy grip and a grid, a 3x3 thin blank one, and a 4x6" one with a grid. I agree with what other people said, the grid is practically a necessity, especially with alpha stamps.

I do think Michaels has the pad. I haven't looked in that area of the store in awhile.

I have three and the stamp press. I love my stamp press but find sometimes I get a better result with one of the thicker, smaller blocks.

All my blocks are CTMH - I have all the ones that they came out with back when they started clear stamps - maybe 10. I store them in the case they had back then - works great, but they don't have it any longer.

I love my circle-ish ones with finger grips. I have three of them. Smaller ones that are square and rectangles. My largest one is 6x9. I have 2 stamps that are that big. Grid ones are the way to go though

I have the Fiskars stamp press , the bigger one but am thinking of getting the smaller one for cards. I love that it has the grid, there is no way I would line up letters straight without it.
I also have 3 smaller blocks that are from Kaisercraft. They are a little bit thin though and come with a little blue handle that slides onto each of them. I recently attended a Stampin Up party and used her heavier acrylic blocks and am thinking I might buy some of them for simple stamping.

I have the stamp press plus about a dozen blocks I guess. I have thin Tim Holtz ones which have a grid and are easy to see through but a bit thin to get a comfortable grip. I have a couple of thin rectangular ones also with grid that I use for sentiments and alphabets.

I have about 5 different blocks, but I find I only really use the smallest one for sentiments, and a medium sized one for my image stamps. There is a really good video that covers all the basics when it comes to acrylic blocks, although I've never posted a link before, so I have no idea whether it will work! I'm also on my phone which doesn't help. I'm sure if you copy it in to your browser it will work: youtube.com/watch?v=1UljJA7r2JA

I have both sets from CTMH and SU. I think I like the CTMH ones most-- they have a slight edge because I like the carrying case for them better than SU's. I don't really use the grid ones because I usually stamp with grid paper under my work, and I find it easier to line up stamps on that than on a grid block.

I have a good variety: small squares, medium squares, large rectangle, a long rectangle (good for titles) and so forth. I have plastic film of grids and shapes that I can put on them (a heart or a circle for example) too. I'm thinking about getting the fiskar's press since I see Kirsten Warner uses hers a lot. I wonder if it's easy to line things up using it?

I've got a big flat square gridded one which is nice for really large stamps, plus a couple of small cheapie ones, but the one I use the most is a footed stamp mount -- I think it's about 6", the one from Martha Stewart. Almost got the Fiskar's giant one they have in big box stores but decided it was way bigger than I needed. I love the grid! I think that since I got that one, I've pretty much been using my others as mixing palettes rather than stamp blocks. www.amazon.com/Martha-Stewart-Crafts-Mount-Medium/dp/B005QB0QEI

I have a set of 5 that I bought. They are a good thickness, but I wish they had grid lines on them. I wish I knew of a good way to store them, but they just sit in a pile near my stamp pads. Sometimes they get lost under my piles of paper.

I try and clean up as I go but it does't always work!

I got the Fiskars Stamp Press after I had a stroke in 2011. I did find you still have to exert press very evenly or you will have sections of the stamp that don't stamp. That was often hard for me to do without letting up on the pressure in another area. I graduated to the Christine Hellmuth/Ranger rock-a-blocks set. They worked much better, especially for getting sentiments somewhat straight. I still use them when I am having an off day. Otherwise I have a 2x6", a 4x5" square and a favorite oval one that are gridded. I also have 3 or 4 cheap plain smaller ones that I let the kids use. If you haven't seen the rock-a-blocks I've put a link below. Mine are green rather than purple. They do have a learning curve, but when my hands shook all the time, they worked for me: www.stampitems.com/rockablocks.htmI would like a 3x8" one for my unmounted Stampin Up wheels, but haven't found one at a reasonable price.

Skippet, those rock-a-block blocks amazing, thanks for sharing! I'm surprised to see how reasonably priced they are, too. I'm seriously going to think about purchasing a set because, with some of my stamps, I always end up with ink where I don't want it. I was thinking about getting. The Fiskars Stamp Press, but I'll probably get this set instead. I'm only sorry I didn't hear about these sooner.

A tip when using Rock-a-Blocks: It could be because of my disability, but I found the paper will move when you "rock" unless you have it anchored somehow. I have a small lip probably 1/16 of an inch on the edge of my craft table & I butt my paper against it and then set the edge of my Rock-a-block also against that lip and roll it forward. Keeps my hand from tilting the block in a sideways direction. (Does that make sense?) I don't know if this would be an issue for anyone else, but thought I would mention it.
