I am traveling to charleston sc in a couple weeks. Would love any tips on sights to see where to eat and stay. Also are there any scrapbook stores in the area. Thank you for your replies

I live 2.5hrs from Chas. The last I knew most of the LSS in the area had closed. There "might" be one in Summerville (just outside of Chas.), but, I have not been there. There are tons of places to stay, it just depends on your budget. Lots of great places to eat, I like a local place called Reds Icehouse. Not fancy but very good food and it is right on a water way. It is over by the Yorktown carrier at Patriot's Point. Oh, good eats at California Dreaming, it is on the water. I go to Myrtle Beach more often since I moved from Chas. 15yrs ago. Chas. has changed SO MUCH.

Definitely recommend California Dreaming. We have been eating there for over 26 years. One of our favorites. Their salad and house dressing is my favorite!!!! For sights, don't miss the Market. AWESOME! Also, Rainbow Row is wonderful. And if you take a carriage tour, you will see a lot. You can catch carriage tours down by the Market. Very easy to find. Have fun!
