Like thousands of others, trying to cut back on expenses... Does the three step system work well for you? I'm intrigued by the ability to do it at home without the use of a light and the ability to remove with Acetone.
Any reviews?

I haven't tried it, but the Essie Gel Setter is crap on my nails. I got one whole day out of my manicure before it chipped.

Not sure about OPI, but I have been using Sally Hansen, lasts longer than regular polish, but not a full 2 weeks.

It's not a true gel, just "gel like". I have not used the OPI system but what I've read from others is that it's ok, but not any more so than any other gel-like system. Some like it, others say Sally Hansen's line is just as good.
Seems the Essie one is universally panned. I am a big fan of the CND Vinylux polishes and top coat and it seems to work almost as well with regular polish as with the Vinylux polishes.
I personally could not stand having the same polish on for two weeks, no matter how chip-free, but I've gotten the Vinylux and Revlon ones to last 9 days before I couldn't take it anymore and removed it. I didn't get as good weartime from the SH line.
