Any suggestions on where to look for some comfy leggings I could wear to work, that won't also cost a fortune? I don't need super high-end brands, just something good quality that won't be see-through or wear out after a couple of months.
I'd heard good things about ponte leggings from the GAP but they don't carry them in store here and when I looked online they had weird zippers and stuff on them.

I've taken to wearing my exercise leggings for work. They are smooth and don't stretch or bag, and many are more attractive than ones sold simply as leggings. I joined Kate Hudson's Fabletics.com and been buying an outfit for $49.95 about every other month. I did it to start because I didn't have good workout gear, but then found out that I really like the Capri leggings with my tunics for work.

Kohls carries a Vera wang brand that I like. They don't bag and are just plain, no weird seaming or zippers.

Yes I buy solid black cotton. They may have a little Lycra or something in them, maybe that's why they don't bag. Or maybe I have fat calves. Lol!

Since we're talking about leggings, anyone know where I can get petite full-length leggings that hug your leg contours. I have trouble finding leggings that don't bag around my knees.

I buy mine at Loft but my daughter was just asking for Lulu Lemon leggings because everyone can see through her Old Navy ones (I didn't win the leggings aren't pants argument). I refuse to pay $100 for a pair of leggings so we are going to have to find middle ground on this one.

Eddie Bauer just had a big sale and had lots of leggings for decent prices. I don't wear to work but they looked good quality. Worth checking.
I've heard good things about jJill leggings and they seem good quality but they have always been too short for me, but I need a very long inseam.
