Using the free 30 day trial of the HBO To-Go app, I just binge watched 5 seasons of the Game of Thrones. I'm hoping my ability to form complete sentences returns and that the nightmares stop. OMG. O-M-G.

I haven't seen it but can imagine! I felt like that after binge watching Justified, and it's probably mild by comparison.

Oh honey, GoT is not to be bingewatched! It is just too much for any human heart and soul to take in during one sitting. The emotional rollercoaster is intense!
I'm happy you enjoyed it, now you need serious downtime to process. Most of us has processed little by little over the last few years. I will be thinking about you!

I am secretly happy the show caught up with the books. I have friends who kept threatening to spoil the storylines for me, because they had read the books! Worst friends ever

I'm happy you enjoyed it, now you need serious downtime to process. Most of us has processed little by little over the last few years. I will be thinking about you! I did enjoy it. But I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't binge watch it. My God. Welcome lol. Hope you learned quickly not to get attached to any one character. Kinda learned that fast as Edward Stark was my favorite in S1 wow, you might need to hug a kitten for a few days I've been hugging the puppies. My DH thinks I need to be put on medication. LOL. I keep telling him "it's too raw. I'll be allright. I'll be okay". I think I may try reading the first book, see if I like it. But I need a couple of weeks "off". I need the dreams to stop.

Congrats! Take a few weeks to decompress and then go back and watch again. You'll be amazed at what you pick up that you missed the first time around.

I watched 4 seasons when Comcast made it available free for a week. It was exhausting. Lol
