I am thinking of going tomorrow. As the ticket includes paid GO train and TCC, the cost of getting to Toronto would make the cost of the ticket ($25.00) very affordable.
Is it worth it to go to the PanAm park (Exhibition Grounds), Nathan Philips Square and to other venues?

I hope you went. We live about 3 hours outside of TO. However my husband had time in his busy schedule to visit an old friend in TO. We had our 11 year old with us so decided to see the flame. She said it was worth it! It had gotten dark out so was the perfect time. We took pictures. We even found underground parking near the flame that didn't kill our wallet. We were there less then 30 minutes and my hubby was expecting to pay$20. It was $5 for 30 mins or less and $25 for the day.

I haven't gone to anything. I don't think I know anyone who has either. Us jaded Torontonians.
I will say going downtown has been a pleasure. Everyone has been avoiding Toronto and traffic has been awesome.

Everyone has been avoiding Toronto and traffic has been awesome. I live in Suburbia...I've been and know several other people who have been or are going! It really was worthwhile. I don't understand the apathy.

Went to Nathan Philips square last week and saw the toronto sign- and was down by an am park dropping daughter off at warp tour but it was raining hard and didn't feel like getting wet so went to Eaton centre instead

I've been to a football (soccer) game and it was amazing! Everything is so well organized... Easy to buy tickets, reserve parking, routes were clearly marked, there were volunteers all along walking routes, and security was quick... The volunteers were amazing! Such fun attitudes and helpful... The prices are really reasonable - $25 all in, and $15 for students or seniors... And that includes public transport... We also got flags and our picture taken with official football and the stadium background - all free... It was a great afternoon and evening - we're planning on going again!
