Are the ones you found the same? If so can you share a link? not exactly. I actually don’t have any 4x6 or 6x8 from SC they were always out so I can’t compare exactly. They are a bit thinner weight than the everyday explorers ones though. First I got these avery ones other than a flattened reinforced area at the top of the side seams they appear quite close. I love these and would have stocked up on them but I couldn’t find anything for the 3x4 anywhere Avery 74806 Top-Load Clear Vinyl Envelopes w/Thumb Notch, 4 x 6, Clear (Pack of 10) www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IC87/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_h50kFbVMPG279Then I ordered from everydayplastics.com you have to make sure your not ordering the self adhesive ones. I got the 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 and they fit the stamps fine. The plastic is thinner than the other but I probably missed a thickness in the description. I didn’t find a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 so I got 3 1/2 x 5 and I’m not minding the extra height as I store these standing up. They are a hair narrower than the SC sleeves, the stamps fit just fine but the cards are tight. I trim the cards a 1/16. These ones are just as thick as the SC ones I have, thicker than the 4x6 so that’s why I think I missed a thickness in the description. I only got a couple of 6 1/2 x 8 1/4 because I thought it might be too short but I think it’s fine. If I ever order again I’d pick up more. But for now I’m fine. I think its all the old inventory they haven't been able to get rid of. I didn't want it from SC at clearance prices and don't want it from SB.com at full price.  Some of these are things SC has been trying to unload for YEARS and can’t get rid of them 50 cents. Like the labels. Why does SB.com think they are going to unload them for 2.99? Good luck with that. I’m surprised to see AE stuff included, and it’s all listed as “Studio Calico.” I am glad to see some 6x12 protectors and albums on the list. But seriously, some of the ink is ABM stuff - how old can that ink be?! I didn’t see any Scissors art prints though. |

Scrapbook dog com has SC stamps listed “zooming soon” TTgat have been OOS at SC for awhile - like On the Grill and Travel Eats. Several components of the You Are Here kit that have been sold out too.
The scrapbook dog com stamps are cheaper, I guess by they won’t have stamp sleeves?
I think it’s funny autocorrect changed “coming” to zooming, so I’m leaving it. 😝 It also tried switching Eats with zests, I changed that. When I just typed Eats the second time it autocorrected to east. I have more trouble typing in this board than anywhere else online. I’ve had to go back through and delete “BBC” three times. I doant even know why that pops in.
^case in point - dont without the apostrophe changed to doant?! Why? Elsewhere it will just correct to don’t.

Because the pouches are delayed. “And we know y’all love the pouches!” I’d prefer wax bags. Pouches are cool to a point. Now they are a burden. Too many. So much plastic. |

I like the newer style ones better than the old style, but I wish they still had the 12x12 pouches because those I have the most use for and my stash is running low. I also use the AE SBTM ones frequently as well so I'm always running out of those. I use the 12x12 ones to store extra ephemera from each year that didn't make it in my album or from trips/special events, either that I haven't scrapbooked yet or that I wanted to save but didn't fit in the scrapbook (or in case I ever want to go back and create another project with it). I use the SBTM ones to store ephemera packs that I haven't used all of rather than the disposable plastic that the sets come in. I also have pouches with various shapes/themes of embellishments from other sets (e.g. all travel related ephemera/icons). I use the documenter ones for storing pens & other basics when traveling, to keep smaller items organized in my purse, or organize some craft items in my closet. I also have one for each number 1-25 and an extra for other numbers to store my various numbers in in my December Daily supplies.

So much plastic. i don’t care so much about the pouch, but the month they left off the pouch my cards were water damaged because the ‘wax paper’ isn’t think it’s waxy and provided no protection at all. If they want to slip it in a plastic bag I’m ok with that but their version of ‘wax paper’ wasn’t at all protective |

Its the 12th. Nothing has shipped though labels were made. Looks like they are being sent Mail Inovations (or whatever its called) and that means it will be 2 weeks before its here. UGH.

FYI, I was scrolling thru Scrapbook.com's Coming Soon thread and noticed Studio Calico has a ton of stuff listed, coming soon. Basics, stamps, some 6x12 albums, etc. www.scrapbook.com/store/brand/studio+calico.html#ctopIt looks like some Ali E kits as well. I am not a Studio Calico person, so not sure if they have always been, but I didn't think they were sold on scrapbook.com? |
