After reading your responses, I am going to have to back off! I have scrapped every photo worth scrapping. Not everyone I have taken. I edit and discard the bad ones, too. I should have read the email more carefully.
Yes, I am. Not sure where she came up with the percentage.
I have been there before and am now there again. I have scrapped some of my photos 11 times....family vacations for my grandchildren's book. Another one coming up in August, so I will have something to do soon.
I started going through old books and adding more embellishments, etc. Maybe I will show you some before and after. Already did 3 or 4 pages, but no before!
I wanted to do a poll to see what % of you are like me, but couldn't figure it out.

There's no way I'll ever scrap all of my photos, nor do I want/expect to!
I'm impressed you are so thorough, though! I recall you mentioning on a thread recently how much you've been scrapping since retirement -- that's awesome!

I don't think I will ever scrap all my photos. But I hope to someday scrap all the ones that I wanted to!
I'm so impressed that you have. I'd love to see some of your pages!

What an accomplishment!
I don't want to scrap every single photo I have, some of them are just not "scrapworthy" lol. I have scrapped the same photo more than once, though.

I pretty much scrap every photo. The exceptions are like this: My son was involved in a hobby and I would go and take pictures of an event. At first I scrapped all of them, but then he left that group and I still had a stack of photos, so I scrapped only the ones he was in. I am currently scrapping air force photos and I am scrapping all of them even though some of them I have forgotten who the people are. I guess at one time they were important enough for me to have a photo of them in my collection.

If I even attempted to scrap all the photos I take, I think I'd end up in a corner crying and rocking myself. I'm a bit of a crazy person with the photo taking. I will say, however, that doing Project Life definitely allows me include more photos than if I only did "traditional" scrapbooking.
I have zero problem scrapping the same photo multiple times, though. I have a lot of photos in my PL that I end up making a layout for so I can play with pretty paper, do a challenge or because I want to tell more of a story!
Kudos to you, though, for scrapping all your photos! That's awesome!

I only scrap the "scrapworthy" photos so there's no way I'd ever hit 100%. Editing and discernment are good skills to have. And since I'm not Ansel Adams of Annie Liebowitz, not every photo I take is a masterpiece. I'm OK with that.

I have over 15,000 pictures on my hard drive - there is no way on earth I could possibly scrap them all nor would I want to.

No, especially since I have been taking photos since I was 7 or 8 years old. A lot of them are not worth scrapbooking. With digital photos it is even less likely that I could scrap them all, I take several that are obvious throw always. That is the joy of digital cameras!

I have a lot of pictures before the digital cameras arrived on the scene that are dark and grainy. I won't scrap those. I am also that person who takes about 5 pictures of one thing to make sure I get a good one. We were in Vegas last weekend at the Bellagio and a couple asked me to take their picture with a really nice Nikon camera. You could tell they wanted a good picture. I took a half a dozen in different ways and they were so excited. Now if I could just get my boys to be that happy. The motto at our house is no one has fun unless I have my camera.

If I did scrap or even print every photo I've ever taken, I would have to add on a room to my house. I've taken 4600 pictures just since January.

Ha ha, no. Not gonna happen! I'm sure if I went back to just when I first got a digital camera (around 2000 or so?) there would easily be 20,000 photos to sift through. Then there are all the photos taken before then, and all of the photos and negatives of my mom's, all of DH's childhood pictures and all of the portraits of DD we've had taken since birth. I could retire tomorrow, scrapbook EVERY DAY and never take another picture for the rest of my life and still never get caught up!
And you know what? I'm really okay with it. I do have quite a few projects that are on my "must-do" list and that's going to be where I start. I figure anything I get done is better than all the people who either never take them out of the shoeboxes or print them off of their cell phones, so whatever I do get done will have to be good enough.

I started scrapping with the goal of having somewhere to put all the photos I have now residing in photo boxes (starting from my college days). And then digital cameras came on the scene and I have 1000s of pictures stored on a hard drive needing the same treatment. I will never catch up. My new goal is to scrap as many as I can before I'm too old to recognize all the people in the pictures.

I can take my kids on a hike and take hundreds of photos. I might not feel the need to print and scrap any of them because it's not a significant event. Or I might print some to make a page or it might end up in my PL album. Totally depends on my mood. I have thousands of unscrapped photos and am totally okay with that.
