I want the pics I take with my iphone to upload to photo stream so I can view them on my iPad. I don't want to be able to see everything that is in the iCloud photo library on my phone. I have iCloud Photo Library turned off on the phone and My Photo Stream turned on. That doesn't seem to accomplish what I'm looking for. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks, Ann

Here is a link from Apple. Maybe this will help you. If not, scroll to the bottom and go to their support communities. You can look there and/or post if you can't find the answer.

I thought Photo Stream was just on the specific device. If you want to view things across devices I would think it would have to go to the Cloud.

Before the software update, my iPhone photos would upload to Photo Stream and I would see them on my iPad.

Camera Roll is just on specific devices, Photo Stream goes to all. I've not been happy with how my photos are kept since we went to iOS 8. I canNOT get my photo stream on my PC anymore.
