Former Presidential candidate, die-hard progressive democrat and huge Hillary Clinton supporter Wesley Clark calls for a new round of internment camps. Round up those radical Muslims!Oops! He let the progressive cat out of the bag. So, i'll just sit here and wait for the media to demand that Hillary and all the other Democrat candidates answer for Clark's statement, like they have hounded every republican candidate over trumps comments. I better pack a lunch, I might be here a while. NO conservative would ever support this idea. It's only progressives who think its a great idea to round up dissidents and silence them "for the greater good".

OMG there is video of him saying this! Segregate them when they haven't even done anything? Ridiculous! If you don't think the way we do then we'll lock you up? Uh, no. This is crazy! People need to speak out against this, or the one in the camps might be YOU.

Hmm I didn't know Wesley Clark was running for President.
Correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't the reason folks want the Republican Candidates to denounce Trump is BECAUSE he is running for President. As a Republician.
Otherwise he would be labeled as a crackpot and ignored just like folks are going to do with Wesley Clark.

You did say "FORMER" Presidential candidate right? That means he's not relevant to 2016. Donald Trump is ... at least in his own mind, as long as he's running for President in 2016.
You really are grasping on this one aren't you?

NO conservative would ever support this idea. It's only progressives who think its a great idea to round up dissidents and silence them "for the greater good". Good heavens. I would politely suggest that there are very few people-left, right, middle and otherwise-who believe that an interment camp is a good idea. Not only that, but I would also politely suggest that I am not alone in giving a rat's hairy ass what Wesley Clark thinks. He is not one that has a lot of political sway in the real world.

Donald Trump is already rather unpopular in Scotland because of his attitude and actions re building golf courses. If he were to become President, I think we would need to suspend diplomatic relations for the duration!

Unless you know every single conservative or are joined to them in a Borg like hive mind that's an awfully big assumption to make.

Slow day at the horse farm, @lynlam? You must be perusing The Drudge Report and posting that ridiculous crap here. It's going to be an interesting day watching your head explode again.

Living in San Francisco during WWII when the Japanese Americans were rounded up and interred, my mother worried that those of German heritage might be next. She and I were easily recognizable as having German facial features so she had miniature copies of our birth certificates made and carried them in her handbag - just in case.
So it has happened previously here in the US and not all that surprising that there are those who thought it was the right/safe thing to do.

But history has taught us great lessons about the wrongs that were perpetrated during that time when we put people in camps for no reason other than being 'other.' There is, of course, the sociological factor of the time...hugely patriotic feelings that were present during the time, ready made bad guys based on who was the enemy all wrapped up with a red white blue mob mentality bow. The circumstances for that aren't present anymore, and likely would never even take hold in the environment that we live in now. We have learned to question more, to follow the governmental lines less. I can see why it happened then, but now? No.

FTR, the world really couldn't care less about Donald Trump. He's more a. . . local problem. I think most of the rest of the world is still at the stage regarding Mr Trump, to be honest and even the most cynical don't think that the rest of his country would actually elect him! We've certainly sat and at how he did in a couple of the polls/ratings recently, but surely, it wouldn't actually happen??

I don't know a single republican that takes Trump seriously. Everyone I know thinks he is nutty and has for years.

Why am I getting the feeling that the same people who are up in arms about this idea are the same ones who pitched a fit about the so-called Ground Zero mosque, because it would have been a Muslim "message" that they had conquered the U.S.?? Please, general you, make up your minds. You defend the rights of Muslims or you want to take them away?
And btw, Lynlam, Gen. Wesley Clark was a presidential candidate for about five minutes, eight years ago. That is hardly the first descriptor I would choose for him.

Aside from the fact that internment camps are a horrible idea.... Lynlam stating it is only "progressives" who would suggest such a thing is amusing. Since when has Eric Boiling or Michelle Malkin been known for being progressive??

I hear many Republicans squawking loudly over Trump's comments. He is damaging the Republican brand with his blow hard nonsense.
