Just like everyone else I have a FB friend who sells something while she's crossed the line into too many sales posts I have to say *if* the pics are legit it's somewhat impressive. Does anyone have any knowledge, does "It Works" (wraps, supplements, etc) actually work?

not like they say it does. I did have stretch mark and uneven skin improvement on my belly, but no lasting inches lost or anything like that. and their fat pills and stuff have been proven to be worthless.

A friend of mine just started selling this stuff. She is the same friend who was not successful selling Thirty-one bags a couple of years ago. (Those bags practically sell themselves) This kind of product has been around before and did not work then. I worry that she is going to lose money she does not have on this crap.

I have a FB friend that sells it. She looks like she's lost 75 lbs or more.
But... She started going to the gym and eating right around the same time she started It Works.
Somehow she believes it is due to the wraps, not her hard work.

If I worked hard and changed my eating and exercising habits then I would be wanting all the credit, not giving it to some product .

I believe I read that it does something like line fat cells up so there is a temporary loss of inches. But over hoirs or days, it all goes back to how it was so its not actually working.

I thought this was going to be about "The Works" - which is toilet bowl cleaner. And yes, it works great!

It's a quick fix that wont last. My SIL gave me a few to try when she was selling and yes I temporarily took a few inches off my waist. They're stupid, uncomfortable, and a pain to work with but if you desperately want to lose a few inches for a special event, then this is your product. If you want to get healthy and permanently lose weight than good old fashioned diet and exercise should do the trick, without your husband looking at you thinking you're trying something kinky in the bedroom. ?

If you have to name something "It Works!" It probably doesn't.

I've done wraps with my esthetician over the years, and it legitimately does tighten me up for a couple of days. Great for a special occasion, but not in any way a permanent solution. I'd imagine It Works is about the same, but I wouldn't want to do it myself. There's no way I could wrap myself like she did.
Also, I'm about ready to unfriend my SIL who is the newest It Works fanatic to cross my path.

I haven't used them but I am skeptical of them having any long lasting results. I think for a temporary improvement, the wraps would really work. I know they sell some kind of pills which are supposed to reduce how much fat/carbs you get from a meal. I find that to be highly unlikely. If you could take a pill and then eat all sorts of crap all day and not gain weight, wouldn't we all be doing that? I think exercise and healthy eating is much more effective.

If you have to name something "It Works!" It probably doesn't. Agreed. Also if you have to use the MLM business model, it probably doesn't.

The only product of theirs I've seen that has any kind of results are the greens powder stuff. The person I know who had success with them felt her system was balancing out better when she added the greens product to her daily routine. As far as I know, she still uses it. I equate this to if I eat the activia yogurt, my life becomes easier if you know what I mean, so from that point of view yes, they do work. I agree with the others, the wraps etc are a good temporary fix if you have a special occasion.

What she wants more than the credit is the cold hard cash in her pocket from sales of that crap... I'm sure that she knows how she really lost that weight, but that isn't going to make her any money.
