It arrived yesterday, 3 days earlier than my estimated ship date. Holy Moly, it is even more beautiful than I imagined. If you are on the fence about ordering one, do it.

I use my lesson planner daily and I write meetings and such into it. What is so good about this planner?

First, it is beeeeeYOUtiFUL. It has great planning pages, fill in checklists for your class, a great calendar that you customize the start date, sections in the calendar to take notes at the monthly staff meetings (since I always lose the notes), embedded sheet protectors, a pencil pouch, stickers, graphing pages, a two sided folder, lots of inspiring quotes, ,and did I mention it is beautiful?

How about someone on a block schedule? I have five blocks per day on a two-day rotation (ten blocks total). Usually the pre-printed planners don't work well for that. I found a printable one on TPT that seems like it's going to work well, though.
I really want to get on board with online planners like Planbook.com, but I just can't make them work for me. I spent too much time fiddling around with formatting or trying to type on an iPad, which just doesn't work for me.

On the side I write the class and the days are preprinted at the top. Then I just fill in on the day/hour for each class. So you will have some blocks on the planner open, but it also gives more room to write if needed.

Yeah, I would do that, but so far the regular planners I've looked at have no more than 7 class spaces - and I have 8 separate preps (9 if you count my advisory). Maybe I'm overthinking it!

Even if it's a duplicate section (like nonvarsity girls choir) each one needs unique repertoire for the concert. We have ten academic blocks split over two days, plus an advisory period each day. Math and ELA are double-blocked so the students have them every day. I teach four classes each day plus an advisory and a prep period.

I've been at the elementary level for seven years. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it, too! Sorry to hijack your thread - I'm really just jealous that your pretty planner won't work for me. Hope you enjoy it!

Merge you will get into a routine. I had a similar schedule when I went back into teaching after a 6 year break. I recommend doing some classes the same as much as possible to cut down on prep time. At first you are going to feel like you are caught in a whirlwind.

it looks beautiful! For 60 bucks though I would just keep using the free one the school gave me and continue with my own colourful sticky notes
