Anyone experience numbness about 2 inches below belly button but about an inch above the hot spot? I've had many other surgeries in this area and wondered if the most traumatic was from a C-section? Also, has anyone noticed sporadic hair growth in that region (as if the docs didn't put the flap back together properly?). I'm not suggesting they did anything wrong, because their job was to put me back together and get my twins.... but just weird where the hair pops up.......just wondering?

Still numb, 15 years later. I haven't really defined the area - I think it's about 1" wide.

I had 3 csections and I'm still numb covering quite a large area. My children are 16, 12 and 10.

I have quite a bit of numbness a decade+ later after several c-sections.
No strange hair issues though.

13 years numb. Weird but I do have one single hair that pops out ever month or so. Like one day nothing next day a long hair...dH says it must grow normal and I just don't notice but I put lotion on every day and I never feel or see it until it is about a half an inch long...

12 years numb. Plus, I did it again 5 years ago, so I'm pretty much just expecting to be numb forever. I do have a spot that has less hair than before. I had real issues with my incision the first time around and I now have a little spot in my scar that is different from the rest, including the hair growth there.

Only one c-section plus a laparoscopic scar in the c-section scar. No numbness at all. Wondering if I'll end up with it after my second tho. Lots of people I've talked to have numbness.

Not a C-section, but after DH had his kidney removed he had a numb spot that never went away.

I've had two c-sections and a laparoscopic hysterectomy. It has been 15 years since the last c-section and I don't have near the numbness that I used to. I'm not sure what changed.

I think some type of numbness will always be there. My last c-section was almost 19 years ago and I was going to say my numbness is finally gone but if I press down hard enough (which I rarely do because I hate that feeling) I still get a sensation of numbness. No stragling hairs for me though.

Section 5 years ago, and there's only a little numbness right at the scar area itself. And the scar is nearly invisible--I must have had a great surgeon! (Never met him before the day he delivered my kid.)

4 and a half years later and still numb with my second c section.
I'll take numb over the shitty job they did with my first one!. I was begging for them to fix it before I got pregnant with my second child.

Well my kids are 29 and 31 and I'm still numb. I think it's where they do the inside incision, a little above the outer one.

The business with the hair has little to do with having had surgery. It just happens. Could be hormonal or heredity or just random luck with aging. Numbness in or around the incision is perfectly normal too.

Numb here too.
I have a weird little patch of hair that pops up just above my scar. It is pretty funny looking. Like a pointed eyebrow giving you the "look." Whatchoo looking at Willis??

I haven't had a C-section but have had multiple abdominal surgeries and my belly is still numb more than 25 years later. Seems logical to me because they cut through a lot of nerves when they do the surgery.
