I'm one of those that changed from a "pea" name, but I will probably still call us the peas unless something new just evolves.
I don't think I was a readily identifiable pea by my "pea name" so I didn't think changing it would be a big deal to anyone.

I copied my Pea badge and info just to have for a bit. Not sure how long I will keep it in my signature. I still think of us as Peas...after 9 years on the boards it's hard to think of us as anything else.

I'm fine with Peas but I think the board should be The Pod. Keeps us as the peas that we are but also separates our new home from the bucket.

After 12 years I still think of us as "The Peas" and I vote that we keep calling ourselves Peas. It's been in my brain so long and even my family knows to say, "go ask the Peas" when a question comes up that we can't agree on. Just because the farmer has left us high and dry doesn't mean we have to change who we are, right? Just my opinion. I love you all and am so glad we found a new home! Debbie in MD. PS. I"m as computer challenged as they get. Can some kind Pea go back and grab my Pea back from the Two Peas website before it's gone? My Pea name is "birukitty". If you can I'd really appreciate it! |

Well I was a member of Two Peas since 2003 and it would be difficult to think of us as anything else. Funny story: At lunch I was excitedly telling DH I had found the new board. Teasingly he said that since Two Peas was shut down we needed a new name and started asking what we would be called? Carrots? Asparagus? Potatoes? Yea, he thinks he's funny. Whatever! |

You all will always be The Peas to me and even to my family. I saved this link as Pea Refugees, but as soon as I'm done with the original 2peas link, I'll change this one to say 2peas. Debbie in MD, there's a thread somewhere (I think maybe in the admin forum) that has links for all the pea icons. |

I am so sad...but on to newer things. I have been a lurker since the very beginning so I'm sad that I lost my MB posts (hardly any but still).
How do you transfer over the images, the anniversary pea, the Birdgate badge, etc...

I can't decide. I wanna add my pea button cause after 14 yrs ya kinda earn it. It's how we came to know each other so it's hard to eliminate it altogether. I do like refupea!
