So how is your PL working out for you this year? What's working? What isn't? Have you started thinking about next year?
What's working: Just about everything. I took a much simpler approach product-wise and I am finding it easier to make my spreads and also more pleasing to look at. I also went back to 8.5x11 for my regular layouts (I had done that for years and only done 12x12 for a few years) and not only am I really enjoying being back to that size, but I am just sticking them into my PL so I will truly have just one album for the year. Well, two albums, but you know what I mean.
What isn't working: Photos. All year I have really struggled to take pictures. I'm not sure why.
Next year: Originally I had thought I would go even simpler next year, but I think I have really hit the right balance of my true style with what I am doing. Simple/minimalist, but with pops of color. The one think I think I will change is the journaling. I will either get a typewriter or use my computer to type out the journaling. I don't mind my handwriting and think it is important to include, but I think I would like the cleaner look of typewritten font. My handwriting will still be on regular layouts. And photos. Must take more photos.
How about you?

Same here. I just posted on another thread that I have started doing 1 Second Every Day videos this year, and it has taken the focus away from photos. I haven't even decided whether I am going to do digital or paper this year!! I am further behind than I've ever been in all the years I've been doing P365 / PL.

I just finished the first half of the year in PL and I'm pretty happy with the process!
Working: -12x12. Since I'm going with the flow and not holding myself to any rules or standards, I like this. Plus, page protectors are easy to find -Design A. Decision making is my creative kryptonite. Sticking with one style PP takes the though process out of it and allows me to just have fun creating. -Weekly format. I like having the album broken up into weeks. It's allowing me to really go as detailed (or not) as I want. -Having all my photos auto-upload to my Dropbox. I take all my photos on my phone, which is currently a Windows Phone. But I do any editing and creating my collages to get printed on my iPad via the PL app. Having everything already uploaded to dropbox to access on my iPad takes extra steps out for me and I love that.
Not Working: -Embellishments. I think this goes back to the decision making...too many embellishments and I start to feel overwhelmed. -Filler Cards. I want to write and I have way too many filler cards from my SC sub. I went out and purchased a core kit and am very happy with all the space to write now. I'll throw a filler card in here or there, but I don't like too many of them.
I haven't really thought about 2016 yet...I know that I'll continue doing PL. I absolutely love this project and the process and my entire family loves the finished pages. I will probably continue 12x12/Design A.

After finishing my granddaughters 1st year pl album, I'm going back to a much simpler format. I did too much embellishing on her album which defeated the whole idea of pl. I'm going to focus on the photos & journaling with just a few embellishments to make the pages look complete. Hopefully, this will make my whole process much smoother, faster & more enjoyable.

Working: I got a late start this year so I am just doing PL chronological - which is good for this year. Not working:I need to reorganize my supplies that I use for my PL albums. Disorganization is slowing me down. Also, I am using up a bunch of different pocket configurations that were given to me and I dislike it immensely. I didn't want to buy any though so I am just dealing with it. For 2016: stick with design A pages, go back to weekly
