Does anyone wear a Fitbit One on your wrist? My Jawbone Up is near death's door and I am thinking of making the switch to fitbit (this is my second Up, they seem to die after a year). I found these wristbands on Amazon and am wondering how they work out in real life. Comfortable? Does the fitbit stay snuggly inside the bracelet? Etc. Fitbit One BraceletOr should I just get the Flex (the Charge looks nice, but boring colors ). Thanks!!

I have the One and it would not work with my DH's Flex bracelet. Mine is bigger. I've not used a plastic bracelt like you linked.
I wear it clipped to my bra and it's very secure. I think it's very accurate. I like that it's hidden and that I don't have to wear a plastic bracelet. It's just not my thing. The only drawback is that I have to fish under to shirt to remove the clip to see my step count or use a device. 99% of the time, I use a device.

I wear my Up on my wrist now, so I'm used to it but it doesn't give me any feedback on # of steps, etc. unless I plug it into my device, so I thought this would be a cool extra benefit. Do you wear it at night?

It tracks your sleep, stairs, active minutes, you can input exercise, etc. The Flex does that, too. They are basically the same, except for the clip vs the band. The clip holds the device, similar to how the bracelet holds it. But the clip itself is metal, encased in a firmer rubber that is still flexible. It's sort of like silicone. The clip is really strong and has never even moved, much less come off on its own.

I need to think about this for awhile more before deciding. I really want a bracelet (instead of a clip) but also want something that's going to hopefully last more than a year.

My fit bits have only lasted 1 year. I had the flex and now the force. DH's is fine but mine haven't lasted. literally they just come unglued. I have not tried the fit bit one on my wrist though. maybe that would last longer.

I am wondering if it would read accurately, because the one isn't meant to be worn on the wrist.

I have the Charge, but I am less than thrilled with the appearance. It looks like I'm wearing a sports watch to work-where the attire is business casual.

I had a few Fitbit Flex(es). I found I would lose the bit part and I got stuck with buying another one. After 3 I bought something cheaper. I didn't like it. I found my 2nd Fitbit and used it until the Charge HR came out. I like the Fitbit Flex the best. I like the feel of this bracelet the best.

I just got a fitbit flex and I like it a lot. I wear mine on my wrist and it's quite comfortable and stays in place. I wear it all day and sleep with it on. The only places I don't wear it is in the pool/water or in the shower. I've only got the original black band, but I think I will eventually get a few fun, colored/patterned bands.

I've had a One for almost three years and I love it. The only problem I've had with it was that the rubber holder started showing its wear, but when I emailed the company about it, they just sent me a new one. AWESOME customer service (and I've heard that from other people too; it's not just my own experience.)
I wear my One clipped to my pants pockets or belt loops. From there, it's easy to access if I want to check my steps, etc. I've gotten in the habit of making sure it's taken off at night, and it's never gone through the wash.
I actually don't wear it to track my sleep anymore. I found that knowing it was on and "watching" me at night made me stress a little when I'd wake up (which I do multiple times a night). I'd lie there and concentrate on not moving so it wouldn't pick up on the fact that I was awake. But I'm weird like that. I figure I know I don't sleep well. I don't need a device to tell me. LOL!
As for the bracelet vs clip-on debate... I never wanted a bracelet-type tracker. I wear a watch, but really didn't want some electronic device on my wrist and visible all the time. That's a matter of person preference, obviously. I've also heard that some of them aren't as accurate as counting steps if your arm isn't swinging freely (like if you're holding a stroller or shopping cart).

I have a Fitbit One - have owned it for a few years now. I just clip to my pants or to my sports bra, if I am running. I bought it because, at the time, it was the only Fitbit which could track flights of stairs, and I regularly worked out using stairs.
I've looked at the wrist bands, but having it clipped seems to work for me. I did lose it once, but Fitbit replaced it.
I don't wear it at night to track my sleep, because sleep is not an issue for me ;-)
I just had a problem with it where I realized it wasn't syncing with my phone or computer anymore (I usually look at it rather than the app to see my steps, so I didn't notice the problem right away. OK - I didn't notice the problem for a MONTH!) I tried all of their fixes, but the one which actually worked was connecting it to my computer and doing a hard shut off, then disconnecting from the computer and turning it on again.
(edited for clarity)

I have the One that I wear clipped to my bra also. I can't wear anything on my wrists (surgery awhile back, bugs the scar)so this works for me. My last one lasted a few years until just a couple weeks ago when it decided to stop syncing - although it still coounted steps just fine. I usually check it on my phone to find out where i'm at throughout the day. It syncs via bluetooth

Note that the wristband is intended for sleep use only; if you wear it during the day to track your steps, your One will be less accurate than usual." As a result, I wouldn't think any wristband would be accurate since the One is not made to be worn on the wrist.

After trying a bunch of other things, I connected it to my computer, held the button down for about 10-15 seconds so it would shut down, disconnected, and then turned it on again. Worked fine after that. (It's described on the Fitbit site.)

As a result, I wouldn't think any wristband would be accurate since the One is not made to be worn on the wrist. Gravity I've done more reading since I posted this and don't think this will work on my wrist. Bummer, because it would have been nice to be able to see information during the day, but since I don't have that capability now, it's not like I'll miss it. So now I think I'm leaning toward the Flex and where to get it. I am right on the border between the small and large sizes so it probably makes more sense to get the large, but the costco large bands (it comes with 3) are all boring colors so that means I would need to get at least one more band in a fun color which would negate any cost savings from there. Thanks everyone for all the information!!!
