I have now seen a version on Etsy and another Instagram, the latter from a seller on Etsy whose shop is closed at the moment. I did try to contact the sellers but have not gotten a response. I am looking for 4 way or even 2 way stretch fabric (lycra, spandex, etc) that has Disney Princesses printed on it. I visited several fabric stores in the garment district earlier this week including Spandex House. Spandex House had some Dora the Explorer 4 way stretch fabric and even some Barbie prints, but no Disney Princesses. I am going to make a leotard for my daughter from it and possibly one for my little niece. I do not want to hire someone else to make it, especially not my daughter's. When I make her a leotard, it is totally custom. She's my kid.. I have my own patterns cut just for her. I just want to find this darn fabric already. They must be getting it from somewhere! One of the sellers has a few other fabrics I have not seen- Wonder Woman, Jurassic Park, etc. I am guessing they are all coming from the same place. I've looked around on-line but I must be missing the one magical site. Thoughts on where to look?

I've even had a quick search over here for it melissa, just in case, but can only find the Disney Spandex fabrics suitable for boys - the girls versions, including the Disney Princesses, seem to have all sold out!

The ones I found on Alibaba (tinkerbelle require a purchase of 50 yards or meters or more. I'm hoping to buy more like 2 yards. Thanks for the link kachilyn. I sent that seller a message and sent requests to join those FB groups too. Once I am in, I can post an ISO and see what happens. Great source! I am not in love with that Frozen pattern. I have an 18 yr old and while she loves Disney, there are certain patterns that she won't love as much. I will keep an eye in swimsuits (esp on clearance) that can be cut up too. Great idea! I'll be back in NYC in a week or two and can look more then too. I did not realize Spandex World had moved. They used to be across the street from Spandex House (my usual favorite). I did go to Stretch House and a few others but no luck.

I love the fabric cobbler on Facebook. Try there. If they don't have it, they might be able to get you some.

So, I did not find the pink Disney princess lycra, but through the various links shared above, I ended up joining the Fabric Junkie group on FB. Oh boy! I bought some Mickey head and Ariel lycra. Dd flipped over the Ariel fabric. She is a red head herself these days so it's perfect! Unfortunately, the various cotton lycra fabrics are of a jersey fabric and won't work well for active wear. That group may be dangerous. I also joined a pre-order for a few things too.

I have all the Spoonflower swatches. They don't seem to do a true 4 way stretch lycra/spandex, the sort of fabric one uses for active wear, dance wear and swim wear. I almost ordered from them before Halloween when I made my dd this dress. They had a pattern that would have been closer to the film for the skirt, but I found this tapestry at JoAnn Fabrics that worked nicely (and was 40% off).

That group may be dangerous. I also joined a pre-order for a few things too. That's the peas, always enabling, lol! Glad you found what's you're looking for. I'm so impressed by your sewing talent! I can barely hem a pair of pants.
