Hope my fellow peas can help me. I got a bunch of digital art from etsy. I want to put the bird IN the cage. I use powerpoint. I did manage to get the bird in the cage, but am struggling with getting the back of the ring not to show...KWIM?

I don't know anything about PowerPoint - not enough to explain how to do it... But the cage image doesn't have an 'inside', it's only drawn that way (now I've got Jessica Rabbit's voice in my head lol)... The ring looks like it has depth but there is no actual space between them to fit the bird into... To get rid of the back part of the ring, you have to erase it... The back part is part of the same layer as the front part - you can have them both in front of the bird or both behind, but not one in front and one behind... If there is a way to erase part of an image in PowerPoint, try erasing the back part of the ring in the area that would be behind the bird, then layer the cage image over the bird image... Not sure that's any help at all, but I'm sure someone here can help If nothing else I've bumped the thread (and made everyone think of Roger Rabbit lol)...

There is a way you could do it in PowerPoint… But it would be a pain in the ass. You can get the image of the birdcage the size you want it. Then you can put tiny little white rectangles over the part of the bar you want "erased." If you group them together when you're done, you can move them together. Photoshop is obviously more efficient--but that method works in a pinch.
