I spent the day with my mom yesterday and as I was gathering up my stuff from the day, I found The Girl on The Train in the back of my moms SUV. She said that she read it, but didn't like it, so put it back there with the rest of the stuff she was taking to her church to donate for their bazaar that they have. So I took it (sorry church ladies) and plan on reading it soon, and since this is now one of the official 'pass it on' books, I will take it to my next book club meeting and see if someone else wants it. (I have this rule about books-if someone passed on a book they have read to me, I pass it on to someone else-some kind of good reading karma in there, right? ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/Ivm7lm0DayrhoRpwvCeH.jpg) )

First, let me say, I am so glad I found this message board!!! I knew the peas had to be somewhere, after TPIAB went bye, bye. Anyway, back to the point. I'm reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Super good! Its a book written through letters in post WWII. LOVED this one. Just a wonderful read. Characters you like and root for!!

I just finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. very good mystery... What have the rest of you read recently? I've just finished this. I read it in 2 days, it was so gripping and well written. Kept us guessing to the end. i can see it being made into a film. That's what I thought as I "read" it... I actually listened to it on a car journey!
