I am really going to miss 2pea's it was my go to and so fun in the day it was a power house and moved the industry as we told it what we wanted. It's changing and now to move on to better things i hope.

Interesting article. The fact that they were not extended credit, speaks volumes. I hate to hear about anyone losing their source of income, be it their business or employment. I feel for them. It would have been nice if they had given us an opportunity to say goodbye on the mb, but I'm sure we would have crashed it. I lost two of my big scrapbook sources in 6 months. First Archivers, and now Two Peas.

I think that's definitely an interesting article. Especially the fact that vendors were not extending them credit anymore and they let their registrations expire months ago. Really sheds a light on things and makes the swift decision to shut things down seem shady.
I agree.

I agree it would have been nice for them to allow members to say good bye or exchange information. Instead I had to google my heart out to find out where everyone went.

I guess I have to ask myself what if I had poured my heart and life into a business for all those years and there were a bunch of people on message boards I paid money for and they tended to be negative quite a bit about my business - would I feel like I owed them anything? I don't think I would. Yes, they took the easy way out but I'd venture to say most people here would do the same if it were them. We have to remember these are real people and we don't really know them. We just think we do.

Traci- I always thought over at Peas you always had such a calm & peaceful way of looking at things. I agree with so many of the replies, especially now that I have had a couple of days to get over the shock and think about it. I think they should have least given us a few days to say goodbye, make preparations for ongoing swaps, finish transactions at the FSOT board. I know it was their site and they were probably over it. I have owned forums. I have always given my members a chance to say goodbye and time to move items and make new forums. I said over at SCS I thought it was a dirty way they did it. I don't want any of the SCS stamper girls saying "Girl, do you remember what you said?" I know what I said, lol. It was a terrible shock the way they did it. I was so shocked I started crying. Even my husband was saying "Wow!" I admit I didn't really support them either. I didn't even know they had a store for two years. You know I am actually very observant in real life. Then when I was able to start financially shopping at their store it was too late.
