Those make sense.
I'll ad two more, take 5 mins everyday to connect with someone, and listen to them. A different person each day if you can. It's important to keep connections to other people. Just knowing other people are there can lift your spirits.
Also LOOK for a positive no matter the situation. Yes it can be hard, especially at first. But %85 of the time I'll bet you can find something positive in most less than positive situations. My friends and co workers always comment about how I can find the silver lining in any cloud. It wasn't always true. It was a concious choice, I had loved my father's positive attitude, I had it some of the time. When I was climbing out of my depression after his death I decided to be more like him, more positive. Over time it became second nature.
Not every situation has a positive side but if you look many do.
