Turkey and Swiss roll-up sandwiches from Costco. I actually bought them at 10:00 this morning when I stopped to pick up a cake for DS's birthday. I needed breakfast so I figured that would be fast and easy, and relatively healthy. BIL took some, I'm eating more for dinner with chips. Another super-healthy dinner for the lucyg household. Don't worry, the 6yo will be back next Saturday. YAY!!

Everyone's meals sound so much better than mine! I worked in my yard and flowerbeds today and it was so hot and i was just too drained to cook. I had a chicken salad sandwich made with pecans and dried cranberries and a side of chips.

We did an Italian family dinner in memory of my Aunt Constance who died last week. We were not able to fly out for the funeral. I made:
Our family spaghetti recipe-the all-day kind with meatballs, pork ribs, and sausage Shrimp Scampi (she loved seafood) Garlic bread Sautéed green beans with bacon Fennel and orange salad German chocolate cake for dessert
Rest in peace, Aunt Connie. We love you.
