I am thinking of selling my Big Shot and Cuttlebug, and want to replace it with the Teresa Collin's Cut n Boss. It seems easier, it's electronic and I can let go of two machines!
Anyone use the cut n boss? Any comments or other recommendations would be appreciated!

I'm not familiar with the Cut n Boss, but I would say don't let go of your other dies/machines right away. I have both electronic cutters and regular diecut machines and I use both kinds for different purposes. Some materials just cut better on the machines with dies and sometimes it's just faster when you're doing a simple one off design for a card or other quick project to not have to turn on the computer, turn on the cutter, open the software, find or make the design, load the mat... You get the idea. By the time I've done all that I could have the card practically finished using the other machine, KWIM? My electronic cutter gets used a lot too, but more for production work, custom cutting, etc. It really just depends on what you want to use it for. I think I've actually bought MORE dies for my other cutters since buying my third--and hopefully last--electronic cutter (Silver Bullet Professional, which I love). There is a pretty good comparison chart of all the electronic cutters currently available on the Silver Bullet website that you might find helpful. E-cutter Comparison Chart

I have quite a few machines. They all serve their purpose. I would keep the old two around for a while. You never know.

I would let go of the cuttlebug or the big shot, but not both. One manual die cutter is pretty nice to have around!

i absolutely love my cuttlebug and cannot imagine being without it. that said, i do not have another die cutting machine so i have nothing to compare it to. in fact, i think it may be on the verge of breaking (seems to be holding on for dear life when i roll 'thickish' things through it) so i may be looking for advice about whether or not i should replace it with another cuttlebug or if i should make the leap to something else. i do love cranking things through. is that odd?

Keep your Big Shot, it will still be working when the other one quits working.

I used my Big Kick and Cricut Create today. Last month I used my Quickutz handle. Do you really need both the Cuttlebug AND a Big Shot.....I don't know.

I'm another huge fan of the Big Shot - so much, in fact, I recently bought the Big Shot Plus, too. I love my Cameo, too, but you can't beat the ease of using a manual machine

I've used the Cut 'n Boss, back when we still had one last LSS. The only reasons (in my opinion) that an electronic die cutter "wins" over manual are if you cut a TON of shapes, such as for kits that you sell, or if you have carpel tunnel.
I recommend keeping your Big Shot, even if you do buy it. The Big Shot will still be working long after the electronic one gives out.
If you want to spend money on an electronic cutter, then I recommend getting one that is driven by the computer, such as the Silhouette Portrait or Cameo. You get a lot more versatility for the money.
Just so you know where I am coming from, I have a Big Kick, a Cuttlebug, a Wishblade, a Gazelle, an Expression, and a Cameo. I like them all. I mainly use my Cameo, and my Big Kick comes in second. I never met a die cutter that I didn't like. I just don't think the cost of the Cut 'n Boss (or Vagabond, or any electronic machine that only uses dies) is worth the money. You don't need to crank your sandwich through, but it's a lot to pay for just getting rid of the crank.

I highly recommend the Silhouette Cameo - I just used mine this a.m. Plan on making a birthday banner later today or tomorrow. I had the Wishblade for many years but it died recently. I also have the old red Sizzix and the Quickutz. I have been known to use them when needed but I love the Cameo.

Thanks for all the replies. Good points, I will be keeping my Big Shot. It's old but it never breaks down and is a work horse! Off to check out some of the information here. Thanks again for your input!
