It seems like such a basic supply but I don't have a local LSS and my Michael's doesn't stock a good quality cardstock. I've most recently bought by the sheet but that seems silly. I'm looking for a stack of 12 by 12 that I can use in my PL (to mount certificates that my kids bring home etc.) but that also cuts nicely on the Cameo. What do you buy and where from? Thanks for any ideas!

I love American Crafts cardstock, but it is textured. I usually try to find a deal on one of the online scrapbooking sites. I have given up on the cardstock from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. It's not strong enough for diecutting.

I don't like textured so I usually buy white and natural from Close To My Heart!

I like Bazzill and American Crafts. I buy it at online stores in packs of 25 or 50.

Thanks ladies....I usually buy Bazzill but can't find the multipacks at my usual stores. It's good to know that AC is a good alternative!

For mounting certificates, I recommend Recollections "heavyweight" (110lb), smooth cardstock available in packs at Michael's.

if I need tons, want a heavier weight, and don't need it to be 12", I buy it by the ream from a paper supply store.

It's not strong enough for diecutting. I mostly use white as background, so buy a box of American Crafts while - something like 60 sheets? It is textured, but reasonable weight and works well. For card making I use a 110lb weight card stock for bases to make sure they don't buckle

Well for 12x12 I buy packs of Bazzill from JoAnns..with a 40% off coupon it works out quite nicely. Now if you want some really heavyweight cs but 8.5 x 11 than Papertrey Ink sells some very high quality cardstock.

Bazzill and the Cameo are not friends. I don't have a Cameo, I still use my Cricut. What is the issue with the Bazzill? It works well with my Cricut. I'm just curious
I don't buy the cardstock paper stacks from DCWV. They have such fuzzy edges when die cutting.

I love American Crafts cardstock! I buy the white in large 60 packs. It is textured, but cuts so well on the Silhouette. Here are two links: A Cherry on TopAmazon

I found some Neenah at WM the other day. Was it a good price? And, what size did they have? IIRC, Neenah has larger sizes, right? Thx!

Bazzill and the Cameo are not friends. [/lquote] Hmmm, I have a Portrait and it has no problem cutting Bazzill.

I think it was around $7-8. I was just looking for that huge pack of regular cs, but this was all they had. It was with all of the copy paper. I know I've read that Neenah is good for coloring with Copics- may have to give it a try.

Bazzill Eggshell because I love the texture. I get it from my stash and if I ever have to replenish it, I would probably order in bulk from scrapbook.com. With bazzill now bought by AC, not sure I will be able to get it any more.

I am so glad to read someone else has the same issue. I was buying Core'dinations TEXTURED single sheets when Joanns had like the 10 for 2.00 but my store QUIT CARRYING the texture. WHAT??!?!?! UGH! I found it online at JOanns.com but I have been waiting for it to be on sale and it hasn't for weeks. I bought some from consumercrafts and it is NOT 80lbs like they say so that went do my DD (she is happy). It really should not be this hard to find WHITE cardstock.

I like AC white for cutting in my Cameo, I can cut Bazill but it has more rag and therefore doesn't always cu as smoothly as the AC.
HOWEVER, and this is the big thorn in my side since I started getting AC white...AC white has a grey hue which I really dislike. I much prefer Bazzill white CS because it is white, white. so if I am scrapping with white for a base layout I use some form of Bazzill...Marshmellow is nice if you like smooth or regular White if you want linen texture.

My Cameo loves the Recollections white card stock from Michaels. I buy it in the packs of 25. It doesn't cut the individual sheets at Michaels though. It doesn't cut Bazzill well either. I think all of our machines are just a little different.

Thanks for all the replies...I think the only solution is to buy different cardstock for different purposes. #firstworldscrapproblems
