I recently got this set of journaling cards, and I am having trouble getting the blue one to print right. The color turns out not nearly as vibrant, and the card has teeny tiny white spots all over. Any tips?? I have a Canon MG5550, and I am printing on blank white index cards. I love love love Paislee Press and One Little Bird's cards, but I am super picky and perfectionist and this is bugging me. Any other tips or recommendations are of course super welcome!

Are you printing with the photo settings (even if you're printing on plain cardstock)? Have you tried printing on different types of paper?
I know I've seen a significant difference in the saturation of colour when I've chosen a higher quality setting or changed paper types.

Thanks for the link because I had no idea they did digital journalling cards there!
If the ink is blotchy, I find it is usually down to paper type and printer setting. I bought some Epson Matte card recently and the difference in print quality is amazing.

Thanks guys!! I'm gonna try with some presentation paper I have lying around. I've heard great reviews of that Epson cardstock, I'll try to find it here in Spain. craftykitten you're welcome! Those designers I mentioned have super cool stuff.

Well, you were right, the paper was the problem!! I feel so silly The colors are much more vibrant in the presentation paper, AND I found the Epson Matte on Amazon. Thank you so much Chinagirl828 and craftykitten for taking the time to help me out

Glad you solved the issue!
I print on American Crafts textured cardstock with my Canon printer (set to high quality) and the colors are amazing. I grabbed a piece of Hobby Lobby cardstock and was really surprised at how awful the printing looked. Paper really does make a world of difference!

Seems stupid it never crossed my mind. I was thinking printer and color profiles, trickier and tech-y stuff. I love that I am learning so much here already. You guys rock

It will be to do with the type of paper and how much ink it absorbs. It really does make a difference changing your printer settings to the type of paper youre using, or changing paper :-)
