August will be a busy month for my family. My only goals are to finish the two layouts that have been sitting out unfinished and start packing to move.
Maybe, just maybe, I could work on my beach mini album a little bit here and there. Maybe.

My goals this month are simple - it's going to be busy with a last minute, before school starts weekend trip and then school starting. - Finish July PL - Work on pages and stories for my Roots kit with Ali Edwards - Week in the Life - Start procuring a "kit" for my October project I"m going to do. It going to kinda be like December Daily but in October instead...and not daily...but I want to document October a bit more than just regular PL since it's such a busy month for us (birthdays, Halloween fun, Fall farms, etc.). I think that'll be a good list for me for now...I don't want to psych myself out if I put too much on it.  |

I want to get some traditional layouts done, but I have a system to do PL first. So since I need to do Pl from March - July, i think that is going to keep me pretty busy!
So, PL March, April, May, June, July.
host 2 crops.
Organzize and print July photos.
And 2 12x12 LOs. Just in case.

After posting earlier today about finishing two layouts I decided I had some time to work on journaling for them. Then I saw that both of our computers were being used so instead I started two new layouts. I trimmed and matted pictures, got my patterned paper placement done, date stamped a tag, and adhered everything down.
So at this point I need to do titles and journaling for 7 layouts. Ugh. Obviously those are my least favorite things to do. Still no progress towards my short term goal, but some progress towards my long term goal of getting caught up.

School starts in exactly 30 days here. Seems WAY too early for me! I'd like to clean up the mess on my desk height counters so I can move the stamping stuff that needs to be gone through and sorted over there where it will be out of the way. Then I would LOVE to plan a scrapping day or weekend at my house with my scrapping buddies before school starts and things really get crazy!

I need to learn how to use my new camera and get lots of pictures at our family reunion...4 more days. I have a bunch of teens who don't like the camera and some little ones who like to make faces.

I start back to school on Friday. Between now and then I want to do the journaling in the house remodel album I am thisclose to finishing and do my July LOs for PL. With any extra time, I'll do some LOs for my childhood album.

I would like to:
-Finish up a couple of incomplete class projects (I just returned from CKC Lancaster last night)
-Make a couple of pocket pages while I'm feeling inspired by one of the classes I took
-Finish sorting and purging my stash - embellishments are done but I still need to tackle paper
-Complete two 12x12 layouts
-Make a couple of cards using my scraps

I am trying to catch up on PL. I am not obsessed about being 'current' but it is nice to feel up to date.
Also, I go on holiday to Cornwall in 4 weeks so I should really finish my last holiday album from 2 years ago!

We just got done with our scrap day. So 1 crop done.
I did PL, finished March and just have journaling left on the other 3 months. I felt like I got a lot done!

Going to an all day crop this Saturday so hope to do at least 10 pages. Then for the rest of the month I need to focus on organizing and cleaning my area and a few baby journal pages.

abr79, I love the October mini idea. We don't have a lot of birthdays, but we're always busy with fall related activities: harvesting, preserving, corn mazes, etc. + lonr, I think organizing 2 crops would be over my max overload. Are they in person?? Me, We should have started school today. But my dd is ill this week (she's been suffering ill health for the last year, but we're making progress). I'm busy with some home remodel projects and have to travel 10 hours 1 way the last week of August for a niece's baby shower - so my scrap time will be minimal this month. Goals: to finish the August Bonus Challenge based on Nylene's layout. Hopefully get a layout for KikiPea's sketch/scrapbook challenge.

My goals for August:
1) Make sympathy cards for Hospice (Cards for a Cause at SCS)
2) Make some birthday and thank you cards (for September's Ronald McDonald House at SCS)
3) Figure out how/if I am going to do WITL
4) Get started on Christmas cards for Caring Hearts Card Drive

My goal is for anything scrap related! And to finish my PP card kit I opened and made 1 card from!
I have been buried in school until I took 2 finals today and then I'm free until January! woohoo! Time to scrap something, anything!

I wanted to get my current photos scrapped and I did, but I took some more so I have to scrap those.
I will continue to work on my Air Force album this month. I have 2 crops. I do not expect to finish it until maybe November. There is alot to scrap - lots of newspaper articles and memorabilia to deal with.

LisaDV I thought I replied to you but I don't see it now. Does that happen sometimes with tapatalk?  So, I really couldn't call it a crop because only my sister came! Haha, but I invited several others so I will call it a crop. I am actually participating in a virtual crop this weekend. I made some friends on 2peas, you know, before, and we have a facebook group now. And I hope to have my sister over again before the month is over ao that makes 3 sorta-crops.

I have PL done for March-June and I am dragging my feet, but I started organizing my July pics. I'd rather get my hands dirty and scrap, so we'll see if I give in to that! The PL went faster than I thought, so I think doing traditional layouts will happen this month. |

lonr, tapatalk is a pain. But I just updated the app yesterday, and they now have a like icon on the comments!! woo hoo! I would consider having your sister over as a crop. My niece used to come visit for a weekend so we could crop together when we only lived 4.5 hours apart. You're doing great on your goals!

I have 1 card to make this weekend and 1 by end of month.
I'd like to use some new products I got and art journal a couple of pages.
I need to organize my spaces. But that isn't fun.
I'm having trouble finding what I want to do for the 2nd card I need to make because it is going to a fellow scrapbooker and we really like to go all out on them for eachb other.

Goals: to finish the August Bonus Challenge based on Nylene's layout. Hopefully get a layout for KikiPea's sketch/scrapbook challenge. Finished my Bonus Challenge layout and organized my Distress Inks today and a little more of a shelf from moving bookcases last week. Just have KikiPea's challenge to do. We'll be decorating baby onesies and some t-shirts with stencils and fabric paint and maybe with some stamps later next week. - not sure if that counts as goals on here. And dd and I are planning some video making projects.

I'm swapping pocket letters with somebody, and need to get mine finished and in the mail by the end of the week.
I also need to start putting together some small project "kits" to work on at the CKC crops. And make a packing list of class supplies.
And a handmade item for a swap to do by the end of the month. I think I know what I want to do, just waiting on a supply shipment to come this week.

I put a Saturday crop at my house on my calendar for the 22nd and invited some friends... A few have already committed which means now I have to get some stuff cleaned up and moved out of the way! My shelf guy emailed last night saying that my new shelf for the closet will be installed TOMORROW! Woo hoo! That will help a lot to get most of the stuff off of my counters. I'm thinking it should hold about 30-32 Iris and Options bins and I'm pretty excited about that.  Now I just have to get the stuff that's currently in the closet out of the way for them, and I'm golden.  |

PL March - June is done Organize and print July photos - DONE I've cropped with my sister twice! And we are doing it again tomorrow. Tomorrow I will check July PL off. YAY! And I have done 5 layouts so far this month. I have accomplished ALL of my August goals! Gold star sticker for my forehead.  How are you all doing on yours? |
