Scrappy Chic is in Livonia....I am not familiar with the geography of MI at all! I just have a client near Livonia and I do not miss this scrapbook store when I go up there!! It's a great store so look it up and see if it's near where you will be!! Fran

I'm not familiar with anything in St. Joe or Holland, but if you want to head to Grand Rapids, I like Scrap, Scribble and Stick. There's also a stamping store a couple of blocks from there - SS&S would be able to guide you there. Their website is www.scrapscribbleandstick.com. The shop is owned by a sweet family - check the site for summer hours. There's a place called Craig's Cruisers right near SS&S. They have go-karts, mini-golf, arcade, pizza buffet, etc. I've often left my kids and DH there while I headed off to the scrap store. (There's another Craig's Cruisers near Muskegon, I think, just so you don't confuse the two.)

It's not really close but if you find yourself in mid-Michigan, there's a store called Arnie's in Houghton Lake.

I'm jealous that you all have so many LSS options! Good for you! I think southern IL and western IL have some options, just not Chicago. Not too many, actually. In Metro Detroit, there are really only a few left. I've never been to Scrappy Chic mentioned above but I want to for sure. It's about an hour across town from me though.

Sadly, Scrappy Chic is just about the only LSS left in the greater metro Detroit area. There was a great store in Ann Arbor that closed a few years back, and another in Southgate that has been around for 15 years is closing it's doors tomorrow. It's really sad on the heels of 2peas, Archivers, and a couple other online retailers.
On a positive note, scrappy chic is a really great must shop store. They offer coupons, deals, and great customer service.
