My old Picturemate PM 260 has bitten the dust and I was thinking about getting the Charm. If you have one, can you tell me what sizes it prints? My 260 had a pretty big range of sizes and I haven't been able to tell if the Charm prints the same sizes. The size I am most concerned about is a half page, I use it to print out the smaller pictures for Project Life. Thanks!

I have a charm, and it only fits 4x6 photo paper. I can print smaller sized photos on that paper though.

Yup, 4x6 size only. I do put several photos on a 4x6 template in Photoshop so that I can print various smaller prints. I regularly print 3x4 and 2x2 sizes that way.

I switched from the Charm to a Selphy when my Charm died and I LOVE my Selphy. I had it set up and running in 5 minutes and printing out pictures from my iphone within minutes. I highly recommend checking the Selphy out, too. There are a couple of good youtube videos that convinced me to try this machine because I could print all different sizes for PL and I love the ease that it prints wirelessly right from my phone.

The Selphy is great too. The one reason I didn't get it is because the 4x6 prints aren't true 4x6. I mention it because I do Project Life too, and I didn't want my photos falling out of the pockets, so that was a deal breaker for me personally. But tons of people love theirs and that isn't an issue for them! So check that machine out too  |

On my 260, I could scroll through a list of print options - passport size, index size, jumbo wallet, etc. - all printed on a 4x6 photo paper. I am specifically wanting to make sure that jumbo wallet is available. I don't want to have to arrange them in Photoshop and then load, I just want to hit the button and print! If it doesn't have it as an option, I'll look into reordering my old one, if they still make it. I don't want the Selphy because of the issue with it not being a true 4x6. |
