I'm having a BLT tonight and decided to try weaving the bacon like I've seen on fb and Pinterest. It was easy and this is what it looks like. Now hopefully my sandwich won't fall apart Have you tried this yet?

I would have guessed this was posted by Sharla. That is pretty cool, actually. Have you tried making a bacon turtle?

What a great idea. Did you cook it in a frying pan or in the oven?
I'm going to try it next time I have blt's.

I can think of someone age 19 who would pay me good money to do that for him. Would I do it? Yes, in a heartbeat. I like cheese with it, though.
Oh heck I just like bacon!
I am going to do that for boy wonder the next time he comes home. He will love it!

Yes, please Only if you sing, "God Bless America" while I heat up the grill. First you don't ever want to hear me attempt to sing. Second I don't know the words to that song. Actually, I don't know the words to any song, it would be a waste of time to learn them since I never sing.

Works great! I like it best in the oven on a rack over a cookie sheet so the grease drains away.

This is the way I cook bacon every time for BLTs. 375 degrees 25 to 30 minutes. Works great. And weaving the bacon doesn't take any more time than laying each slice out individually.

I did it once. Won't do it again. I cook bacon on the grill in strips. Easy!

I saw a post on Tumblr once (can't find it now) where someone wove their bacon, draped it over a bowl when it was done cooking, and it crisped up into a bowl shape. Then they filled it with Kraft mac n cheese.
In another post, it was made into a taco shell filled with, yup, more mac n cheese.

No I haven't tried it yet, but I want to. I saw this recently on Facebook and I am desperate to try it - Bacon Weave Mac & Cheese Taco. OMG, it looks like heaven! I nearly cried with joy when I saw it - 2 of my favorite things (bacon and mac & cheese)! This is the Facebook post that shows a video on how to make it: Bacon Weave Mac & Cheese Taco
ETA: msliz I just saw your post - is the one I posted what you are talking about?

I've done it on a large cut of meat (particularly good on turkey breast), but I never thought to do it on a BLT - definitely trying that out this weekend!

I go to Costco just to buy the amazing streaky bacon that would be perfect for weaving. Our bacon rashers would not be suitable at all for weaving.
