Well I do most of my posting on the nsbr, but I'm sometimes over here. I'm trying to finish dd#2's high school graduation album before she gets home next week for a quick visit. She finished high school in 2012. ETA: I'm glad for all the newbies from SC and understand their need to be able to vent somewhere. I never subscribed to SC (not my style, too expensive) but I'm sure it's a huge loss to them. I remember how I felt when TwoPeas closed so suddenly last year. Once they get used to their new normal, I'm sure things will be sunnier here on the scrappy board. I'm working on my daughter's high school graduation album, too, and she graduated in 2013. I just keep telling myself that it's going to be really awesome when I finish it!

The SC thread is kind of weirdly fascinating, kind of car-crash-scrapbooking. It will die down eventually until they do something stupid again. This is exactly how I feel. I have no horse in that race but I can't stop reading the epic thread. I'm glad this board is able to give everyone a chance to discuss the issues without censorship.

I don't know if you'd consider me a regular poster, but I'm here! Loving how the new Scrapbooking and Paper Crafts board is moving!

Please bear with us. As I recall, the grieving process only lasted a couple of weeks after TwoPeas closed before we moved on to more pleasant topics. I suspect it may take a bit longer with SC because they're continuing to make choices that are upsetting their members/ previous members. I'm not saying this to deter any posting...just pointing out that SC is unparalleled in their ability to alienate their customer base since 2peas simply folded! Anyone followed their Etsy store or t-shirt business?

He graduated in June, but I only just finished my dd's pages a couple of months ago and she graduated in 2014. To be honest, I don't feel like doing any more grad pages. "Second-child syndrome" strikes again. Teehee i haven't been around much. Summer is a tough time for me to scrapbook or even check the boards. My nest will be empty again in a few weeks and I plan to lock myself in my room and play!
