Brown, okay Ground Espresso, so brown.
Kinda disappointed. There were so many color options, so not expecting that.
But you know I'll have to have it. I actually collect the mini sets.
Any thoughts?

I agree....on both counts. Don't like it much, but I have all the other mini ink pads, so I'll buy this one too.

I like it. Not what I expected the color to be but it will be very versatile to me since black and dark walnut are my most used colors.

ooh, it looks too dark for my tastes- it looks more like a brown/black to me than anything else. (but yeah, I'll probably buy the mini set sometime, lol!)

I like brown and really like this new color. I wish I had the mini's, but I started collecting before they mini's came out and I just cannot switch. I guess my husband hasn't chased away all of my ocd tendencies yet.

I can see how this is a nice addition to the color palette. I would probably use this more often than black. It will definitely be added as a mini ink, maybe a marker and paint.

This is one I probably won't get... I think I have plenty of browns and can mix walnut with soot anyway! But I can see the need for a deep dark one. Just not for me!
I'd still love better purples and a true orange.

I love it. I love all of them. But I am a new inker, so I am excited for each release. I would love to see a cream/light tan color that could be used to tone down some bright colors, or cover up white edges when fussy cutting but you don't really want to use a color.

I exclusively incorporate stamping into scrapping (not a cardmaker or mixed media artist), & our son is my primary scrap subject. Like my favorite distress color (released in June), Hickory Smoke, the newest release - Ground Espresso - will get lots of use on masculine pages! I hope a midnight/navy (darker than chipped sapphire) will be added to the distress collection...

Not a fan of brown and that looks really dark.I don't have many colours but will be giving this one a miss.

Ask away whenever needed, always looking to enable another Distress ink fan. If our postal system was more reliable I would send you a mini of this colour as I have extras. Ink on!

I like the new brown because it is super dark, but also wouldn't hVe been sad to see another green or orange shade.
I am trying to decide what blue would be best for photos of crater lake. Any suggestions?
