Thanks for the warm welcome! With a husband, four kids, and a dog I always have something to scrap about! I used to do 12x12 layouts until I started working last October and I haven't made one since. It makes me sad but my other projects take up any available creative time that I have left although I have lots of pictures now that need layouts done. I mostly do Project Life, weekly format. I really have a system for this down and it has become a favorite. This is my third year doing it and I still love it. I am also a planner girl love my simple stories planner and my Midori, and I do a journaling bible as well!

Hi I'm a scrapbooker since 2006, but haven't scrapbooked in over a year. I mainly make cards right now, maybe because I hardly take any photos. I learned colouring with copic markers last December and have a hard time resisting buying tons of stamps, love stamps and coordinating dies! I don't do PL or art journaling. I signed up to this board long ago, but only been lurking until now.

Thank you for the welcome! I am trying to participate here and there and have even wandered over to the NSBR forum.
I love traditional layouts and PL. I have remained steady with PL, but have not been making as many layouts this summer. I think it is because I am very fact-based with PL and more thoughtful/emotional with layouts, so layouts take more effort and I just haven't had time for that. I hope things will settle down soon and I will get back into a steady rhythm.
I have a hate/hate relationship with cards. For the most part I hate making them (and I have NO idea why!), but I hate paying the prices in the stores for nice cards when I know I can make them so easily at home. So, yes, I make cards...and I hate doing it. Haha.

HI all! Thanks for the welcome! I found my way over here from SC. I never post much over there, but I would love to become more involved in this community. I currently do PL, this is my 3rd year, but I am months behind right now. So sad about that, but I plan on getting to work this afternoon. I also dabble in some cardmaking and copic coloring. I've been married for 7 years now, but no kids yet, just one sweet cat. I hope to post more here and make some virtual scrappy friends.

Hello! I enjoy many types of crafty delights. This year I started a PL album and I am actually up to date with it. I also enjoy making 12x12 or other size SB pages. I will make an occasional card. I started an art journal. I like to try new things, watch youtube videos on crafty channels, occasionally take an online class, and have fun. I also have a planner which I minimally decorate but it is mainly used as a planner. I also like to get inspiration from others so I am excited to see the gallery here.

I was in the same boat, except for it was my husband who didn't think I should pay for cards with a room full of products. I started off in card making but ended up moving to scrapbooking and never wanted to do cards afterwards. I've been getting back into cards over the last year though.

Hello! Thanks for this thread!
I like to say that I've been scrapbooking for as long as I can remember - I've always had some type of album where I'd glue down photos and ephemera. But, in its "current" form, since about 1998. Ive always been more of a "smash" style scrapbooker and when the trend really went towards the 12x12 full page LO's I got lost. I tried so hard to find my own way but, unfortunately, LSS's were not helpful to the young, childless 20-something who didn't want to "follow the rules" and I internet was still so "new" so finding a scrapping community wasn't top on my list of things to do. I kept attempting to scrap during this time, but it only resulted in me spending a lot of money and nothing to show for it. Except for cards...i did make cards during this time, so there's that.
Fast forward to 2011, my son was 3 years old and I felt an overwhelming desire to get back to recording these memories as well as get back to creating. I found Smash Books and totally jumped in and completed them through 2013. In that time, I learned about Project Life but didn't really jump.into that until I attempted December Daily in 2013. Pocket style scrapbooking just clicked for me.
Back in March, I completed my first "traditional" LO, EVER. 8.5x11 works with my brain and also doing PL (which I am.officially doing this year) helps me focus. I figured out that part of my block with traditional SBing was the enormity of trying to get all.your memories in a couple of giant canvases. pL allows me to have an overview of my weeks and LO's is where I can play. I also still make cards and sell them in my bakery.
So, that's my SBing history! SC helped me really figure a lot of stuff out...or rather, the SC community did.
Anyway, I can't wait to jump.in here!!

Thanks for the welcome! I´m a mother of three. Two boys aged 20 and 14 and a little girl who will be 2 in november. I´m from Norway. I´ve been a subscriber at SC since 2008. I do project life, art journaling and I´m also falling in love with my 2 new Filofaxes. I love anything paper, I´m an addict and a hoarder of EVERYTHING paper related. Stickers, notebooks, journals, patterned paper, office supplies etc. Kinda crazy about it, actually!

Yes! Thanks for the welcome!!!
I started scrapbooking in 2002, Creative Memories style. Then I found 2peas, and that opened up a whole new world for me! I have 4 kids…13, 10, 6 and my youngest turns 2 next week. I make "traditional" scrapbook pages, but for the last few years have spent more time on Project Life style pages. I also make cards for ladies that are going through cancer treatment (Chemo Angels).
Looking forward to participating in this forum and getting to know all of you better!

I have been here for awhile but am also have been active at SC off and on. I am mainly now doing "regular" layouts - 8.5x11 and 12x12. However I have done PL in the past. I also make cards and do some copic coloring. I am glad this board has become more active. I have always liked this board since 2peas closed

I've dabbled in a bit of everything over the past couple years. I started with PL in 2013 and also started art journaling. I've made a bunch of mini books (both in Amy Tangerine daybooks and 6x8 albums). I started subbing to the SC PL kit last December, but dropped it last month when everything started going south. Now I'm subbing to Ali's Story kits and LOVE them. It's encouraged me to try 'traditional' 8.5x11 and 12x12 layouts, which are a challenge for me as I'm used to smaller pockets! I love that this hobby isn't just for me, but it's a way to keep memories and our family history for the future as well. It's fun and creative, but also meaningful.

p.s. I post a lot from my phone so please forgive my horrific typos. Sheesh. Yep, and when I'm on my phone, nothing is capitalized. And on tapatalk, I can't figure out how to like a comment either.

I do a bit of everything Until my niece was born 2 years ago, I mostly just scrapped vacations - either 8 1/2x 11 or A4 size. For my niece's first year, I decided to do a 12x12 PL album for my brother and sister-in-law and really loved the pocket style. 12x12 regular layouts always scared me because they seemed so big, but the pockets make it a lot easier, and more like card making which is something I also do. After I finished my niece's album I decided to do some PL albums for myself and that's when I started subbing at SC. I've been doing monthly spreads 6x8 size so very manageable and enjoyable. I also want to go back and scrap some older photos, probably more with regular layouts. And in between scrap sessions, I make a lot of cards. Love using stamps and dies and colouring with copics too - though I have e a lot of practicing to do! Great to see the board becoming more active

Excited to be here!
I've scrapbooked in some way since high school. About 5 years ago I went through a major origami phase and my husband bought me a silhouette cameo so I wouldn't have to spend my time cutting out various size squares. After I had used my cameo a few months my friend told me she had a cameo too and showed me the online world of scrapbooking. I was hooked. I mostly make cards but end up with some sort of PL/scrapbook mix every year as well. And I'm still doing origami/other paper projects. Most recently I made 100 interactive wedding invites for my brother-in-law's wedding.

thank you so much for the warm welcome to the noobs from the 'regulars' here!
i am mostly a mini-book maker and my minis have become sort of pl like over the years as i seem to have less time to devote to my crafting. i also make cards and i journal in my bible. i rarely post my creations because, honestly, i am too lazy to spend the time it takes to photograph and post everything. that said, i love to see what everyone else is making!

I'm a newbie so I will respond if you don't mind! I'm not a SC transplant.
I do 12x12 layouts, monthly project life and the occasional card and DIY project.

Hi everyone, I will echo the thanks for the warm welcome!
I'm a traditional 12x12 SB'er. I'm a proud Canadian and have been playing around with the hobby for 10 years (when I used to have a LSS) but got serious when my two boys came along (ages 7 and 2). Unfortunately by then the LSS was gone, and I was watching process videos on Youtube and so many would mention SC. I googled and signed up right away. I don't think I found my "style" until I stumbled upon SC. I had never even stamped until I signed up for my first kit! I learned so much there from the community and from seeing how others were using the same products as I was getting, which is why I'm finding it so hard to let go.
I am so happy to be a part of these forums!
